I'm sure that's Eastbourne pier in the distance at the beginning of this video. 1:10 - Whitegates is the care home in Westfield (north of Hastings). 1:37 - Buchanon Hospital, such a lovely building, was in St. Leonard's-on-Sea - founded in 1880 it closed in 1997. Impossible to make out where the yachts are but the cars is seen speeding along the A28 into Westfield towards Whitegates. At the end of this video they are on the old town of Rye showing the church to the right of the ancient town hall. I believe that is The Mermaid Inn, Rye at the end of this film - the pub was rebuilt in 1420 and consequently isn't the oldest in the town.
