Yeah in ohio you can put lights and sirens in your personal cars and trucks as long as they are inspected. Most volunteers firefighters have them.
In MI guys will volunteer for a week or two to get the lights and sirens, and then never come back. It's like the cool guy thing to have a light bar on your truck.

ok when i volunteered for a short time before i moved for a potential career with norfolk southern that didnt work out. the alpha bravo charlie and delta sides confused the hell out of me , and the BEFO book didnt explain it well
It depends Alpha is the side where fire command is setup at, being a Fire Captain their are times Alpha could be backside, Left side or Right side.
Oh, I thought A was the front, B was the back, and C & D are the sides
@@noahater5785 Yeah no it's all based on where Fire Command is setup at, that's at least how it is with departments in my area and can't speak for others but most departments I have visited base Alpha where fire command is
@@wdosaheadhunter I’m from upstate ny so i don’t remember how we did it , but in the 2 yrs I was there we had 1 burner that I was able to pop my cherry on and didn’t have to work , majority of the rest were mutual aid and I didn’t have interior and FAST qualifications ,

I know you're community is Florida based, I believe that first responders can use Red lights/siren, as blue is reserved for police.

As a former volly, I can confirm this is accurate. They're either too much a fire buff too much into radios or lights or they never do much
Volunteer FF use same Turnoutgear & Fire Eng/ladders etc.. as Reg Firefighters do so.. even though u guys are ...bad Volunteers... you still could use the correct gear, hilirious video though.. that FF should know "Sharing is Caring"
Ok mods for this game have gotten crazy. They can actually grab hoses off of trucks now? (or however long ago that was added) So fricken cool.
In real life in my state in AZ we can only use amber depending on the district you can only use lights if traffic is in your way at night you can't run code unless you get permission by the district to get a permit by the state. Most Fire departments nation wide are going to 48 on 96 off. In the area that I lived in it didn't really matter about running code cause even in the fire apparatus or law enforcement You don't have to run code very much because the speed limits are between 75 miles an hour and 55

In KY vollies use full lights and sirens for any call one of our vollies have a ranger decked out with all the lights and stuff, if you had a discord I would send a vid but you don’t😭
