NOTE! It's going to take a few days for me to get the books shown in this video up onto Ebay as I only filmed this on Thursday and we're away this weekend. So please do check in a couple of days if there is anything you are interested in. Thank you ❤
It is fun watching your decluttering, I enjoy seeing what you keep & what you don't and why, but it is dangerous! Some how many books look so much more interesting when you flip through them than they do on Amazon. I do try to remember to search for flip throughs before I buy books, but you have books I might never see too. The Woodland book you put on the maybe pile looks really nice, I had to buy 1. I hope it will work with pencils but I do have some watercolors I can try if I have to. lol Tell your husband thank you for me! 😉 I try to limit the books I buy too. I am not sure what I think of Amazon paper , I haven't had too much trouble with it but it would be nice if it was thicker, but I don't plan to buy anything recent unless I know the artist name. Too many AI books out there.
Hi Lilly! You are decluttering ….and you make me buy more stuff 😂😂🤣🤣, which i didn’t want to color anymore…….yes!, color by number mosaic ones from a bit of pixel!! I have some stuff i want to use up so……..these ones are great for that!
My copy of Woodland Watercolor arrived today. Wow what a nice book! The paper is smooth enough I will probably just consider it a coloring book with really really nice paper and ignore that is was meant for watercolor. Too bad all coloring books can't be printed on this paper. Thanks again (I probably would never have seen this book)!!!
Hi Lily, I used to get 'influenced' way too easily too. Not buying anything on Amazon paper makes it easy to not get lured into all the new books now... although I am itching to buy a new set of alcohol markers for some chilled out colouring so I could possibly be persuaded to buy some less expensive books. I've got a few Jade Summer PDF books inc. the elegant patterns, stuck on my old laptop, I tried firing it up again recently, I got fed up of waiting after 20 minutes and the damn thing was still deciding if it was going to wake up or not lol. 🥰
It was so interesting when you compared the 2 pattern books (at timestamp 1:04:15) because every page you liked had a conplete motif with white space all around. And every page you didn't like had the design running off the edge of the page, or even if framed inside a black border, the design inside was still cropped off on all sides. I feel the same, which is probably why I love mandalas. Thanks for another great declutter video!
Maybe the kawai Christmas with the penguins you’ve worked in can be what I call busy colouring, where you do it for the experience or distress value in December, rather than the finished artistic value or realism. It might help redefine your relationship with the collection rather than the item ❤️❤️
@@scottcullen2832 None of my colour-by-number books are for artistic value or realism (is that even possible!?) They are just for relaxing half-hour colouring sessions after work... and I've kept enough for that. With having so many to work through, the Kawaii one is not a favourite and one that would always get pushed to the side.
Hey, it's Frankie! (I just created a new TH-cam channel) I’m excited to see this video up! You introduced me to CBN, so it's great to see you're still keeping some of them :)
Does the staining have anything to do with the black on the back of the pages? I suppose a unicorn with a birth defect could have 2 but the name implies one. Use watercolor as a base in the Woodland Watercolor book and pencil over the paint. It’s a great way to watercolor.
@@ArtJourneyUK Well you only said you took your top off to your vest, I extrapolated the rest into a floozie!! I hope your fever didn't last much longer 😘

I completed both the Joshua Dunbar and Christmas Mandala books 😇 You sent me a copy of the Colour by Number Patterns, did you buy another one? Well done on getting through ALL of your books 👍
@audreyshaw2463 ooo well done Audz. No, I didn't buy another of the CBN patterns, they brought out more than one of the same looking book! Like that Elegant Patterns book. Thanks. It feels much better on the shelves now. Two empty squares! 🥰
I searched for the Usbourne advent calendar last year, got one that was very coffee stained. It was great fun to do and each picture took at the most 5 mins to colour in. If I wanted to do more colouring then I started on the rest of the picture. So thank you for showing it last year!

Starting a video with "Oops" is a mood 😂 I have seen a couple of double horned unicorns (bicorn?). Took me a while to remember, but the Last Unicorn had two horns for a while, although I'm not sure that one counts, since one of the horns was fake. That comment about the lady in Witch Fantasy! No one really seems to be bothered by it, but I always wondered why women in a lot of colouring books are depicted like that. It's not like the target audience for colouring books are men... maybe these kind of books are drawn by men? Don't get me wrong, I don't mind it on principle, but if every single woman in a book has that kind of "equipment" with very little clothes on, I'm bothered (some of the Jade Summers, like the Dark and Light Fantasy one are like that). Their new Dark Fantasy one is a LOT better.
@bombus1340 ooo yes it would be a Bicorn wouldn't it!! Yes, I do wonder about those well-endowed fairies and I know the Jade Summer one you mean, I bought it for mum, she wasn't impressed 😅
Hi. I know this is not the topic of this video, but I was curious out of all of the budget pencils you have gone thru thus far, what would be your top 3? I am looking for a budget set and just not sure which to go with. I( have been watching your playlists) I really enjoy my Holbein and Caran Dashe Pablo pencils for the way they feel when going down and great color payoff. I truly appreciate any input you can give me on my search.
With the colour by numbers books how do you know what markers (that you have) to use? Or is there a specific brand you have to buy that will match the numbers to the markers?
On the back of the book there is a sample of each colour and I matched a colour from my swatched markers with each colour. I'm planning a video about this shortly actually! 🥰
That fairy book sure is weird, I don't understand why they would make them like that, if they weren't so odd lined they would be nice to colour. It is almost like they left that out till last, and then they quickly had to add faces.. who approved on this.
Such A Shame Coco Wyo Have Stopped Printing That Stained Glass Window 1 ( 1 with birds on front) It Looks Really Lovely I Prop Would Buy That 1, An I Don't Do Colour By Numbers Often Now.
Horror story after your last video I went to buy the flower year on eBay it was listed with world of books for £6.99 with 20% off if you bought another book, put it in my cart while I dithered about the other book. When I went back to buy it couple of hours later the price had gone up by £4, left in disgust went back again after looking around went up by another £1 in front of my eyes in the basket. Ended up buying it from their website as it was only £9.99 there.
Hope your Not Feeling Horrendous, Put Feet Up When You Can. Your coloring in book, color by numbers with a giraffe on the front could you tell me who did it please. Thank you. Xx
Hate to be a downer, but technically copyright means that you can't make copies, regardless if you own the book or not. If you need copies, you're supposed to buy another book. It's the same idea as making mixed tapes of music back in the day, even for your own use. It's a bummer, but that's what the law is. It's crazy because with most rubber stamps, you can't sell anything with a stamped image in it without permission. I've gone around and around with this on my channel and it's come down to very strict lawas for anything that is under a copyright. Just wanted to say something because i don't want you or other viewers to copy things that are copyrighted. A digital download is an exception, printed things that are over a certain age and are considered "public domain", are fine, but be careful that the book hasn't been reprinted because they will go by the last publication date when determining that.
