“American made drones”…well where are they?
I saw this coming nearly 10 years ago. America had plenty of time to support their own tech but didn't.
What could they gain from surveillance on US farmland?
DJI makes innovative products at a reasonable price. I'm all for domestically made products, but protectionism has never worked. The Big Four cars are still inferior to Japanese auto makers. Many Japanese models sold here are made in the states. That shows we can manufacture quality products, just engineering is lacking.
It sounds so lame when DC comes up with BS excuses. Why not allocate 1% of "dense" budget to drone R&D for a few years and sell them to the world. People will buy the best products, period.
Having a badge with the Ukrainian flag says a lot about his mental abilities
We as a nation have come to rely more on China for way too much for way too long…
Sure it may be a real threat. But I doubt a 50 year old farmer in the middle of Ohio would be of any interest to the Chinese Communist party. Just keep it away from government use which shouldn't be hard anyway.
Also I would use a drone made by Google, Microsoft, Apple etc. anyday over DJI if it offered the same performance at the same prive point.
The only reason coomonfolk use DJI drones is because it is just that competitive.
More farmers need to get into US Congress's to restore common sense and real economy, not wall street's vapor-nomics.
the so called lawmakers are sore losers 😂😂😂
The need for counter drone defense exponentially outweighs the need to ban them. RFD's should be registered as destructive devices and legally sold to qualified individuals. The consequences of failing to appropriately arm the population would logically result in Americas enemies seizing arial superiority within our own borders. How many drones can a chinese shipping container hold and how many shipping containers can a cargo ship hold?
American brands cover every industry of Chinese people's daily life, and Chinese people do not complain about national security issues.
Maybe pay Americans more so that they can afford American made drones.
Should've taken the warnings more seriously when they came out years ago...
Those politicians read their scripts very well.
But didn't China also banned american companies such as Google, TH-cam, Facebook, X, and even Steam and Amazon also have to make their own Chinese-only version of the services? If they can ban us, why can't we do the same?
