*humiditer We liked it **Fastly.Cool** so much in the basement, we bought a second one for the main level. The amount of moisture it pulls out of the air is astonishing.*
Kurt you're a rock star. Your video walked me easily through ordering the correct part and through taking apart and putting back together my dehumidifier. You saved me many 100s of dollars because I didn't have to buy a new unit. Your camera angles and description made the job easy. I've been up and running for a week now. I'm up here in Windsor, Ontario, Canada but if I'm ever your way (wherever it is you live) I am definitely going to treat you to a drink of your choice. Thanks again to you and to TH-cam.
I live near Buffalo, happy to oblige of Canadian beer anytime. Glad fix worked for you. My unit just gave up working a couple weeks ago, I think it lost refrigeration. Anyway I have the new Lg 70 pint per day model which has the newer refrigerant in it. I am really happy with the Lg products.
last month, i fixed my AC. today, i fixed my dehumidifier. thanks for posting this video. i was very close to buying a new unit. saved me a couple hondo that i can spend on fishing lures instead.
Kurt, first of all THANK YOU! Thanks for making a video that is detailed enough to give me the confidence to attack this issue on my own. I ordered the part, and with the laptop propped up on the bench, went through step by step and now the dehumidifier is humming along as I type. Great job with the video and thanks for taking the time to make it. - Mike
Thanks for the video! I’ll try cleaning the filter first and if that doesn’t work, I’ll be ordering a sensor. Gotta love TH-cam - fixed my aunt’s dryer and garbage disposal from watching videos!
Thanks for posting this useful and hopeful video. I have model LD451EGL returning same error code. RepairClinic doesn't show any sensor parts for it. I wonder if the same procedure works, if I can find the replacement parts somewhere?
Hello everyone. I went to the repair clinic website and could not find the sensor Kurt was showing in the video. Does anyone have any keywords they were using. I appreciate any help. Great video btw. My buddy and I are going step by step following you. Thanks man.
Your video is very helpful. Thank you. I happen to have a 2008 Frigidaire, but followed your directions to take apart. Found sensor, but it doesn't look like the one you show. Frigidaire does't provide sensor replacement--aggravating. Would I be crazy to try a different brand sensor?
My humidity sensor has failed. Unfortunately there's nothing much identifiable other than meaningless numbers on it, and Google doesn't make sense of the numbers. The site you listed doesn't even list Swan as a brand so it looks like I'm stuck.
Why didn't you start with the bucket switch? This is the my second dehumidifier, same model number, with same error code. Just wondering before I order part/s and start my repairs.

Kurt, great video. Clear, simple, straightforward. Walked me through step by step and now my dehumidifier is working fine. Very much appreciated.

You made replacing the sensor an easy fix. Thanks for your clear description of the procedures.
Your video made replacement of the sensors a breeze.
Thanks for producing and posting it!

The video is excellent. It helped me to replace the sensor in similar LG model. I fixed it. Thank you
Thank you for posting this! Got mine fixed in no time.

I found the site pretty useless as well. It looks like you can either type the brand or the part number but I haven't had any luck.

I appreciate the video and was going to try and fix my dehumidifier but it seems they're no longer making the sensor. :(
Same problem. I think I may try to bypass it. Also getting a timer outlet so it can kick off. We will see
Great Video! I have the same unit and same issue. the part says unavailable and discounted. Does any one know where I could get this part?
Very well done. Thank you so much!
Great detail. Thank you!
