- How Underrated is Derek Carr Actually?
In Derek Carr’s decade-long career he’s NEVER won a single playoff game. He gets a lot of heat for this, but how much of the blame is actually on him? In his 9 years with the Raiders he has had SIX different head coaches. There are many reasons to believe that the organization was the real issue, and it was Carr keeping them relevant. In fact, most people don’t realize, since he came into the league in 2014, statistically he’s actually been more clutch than Aaron Rodgers, Josh Allen, AND Patrick Mahomes.

wrong, I'll always consider him a mid to low tier QB no matter what you say. Plus I hate to even hear his voice in his pressers. What I hate about him the most is his arrogance and refusal to take accountability. The Saints blew it when they signed him. We would have won as many games and perhaps more with Jameis for a fraction of what we pay the guy. The sad party is even if they cut him next year he still will have a cap hit of 50 million. Do a video of Jameis and tell me Carr is better than him and if you do I'll know you're crazy

He’s not that good. Overthrows , happy feet , check down prodigy , hardly scrambles , accuracy issues, doesn’t go thru his progressions, it’s never his fault it’s always somebody else’s ….ill stop here to be polite . But good riddance …he’s your problem now.

You Raiders fans literally cannot grasp how good you had it with Carr. You never had a top 20 defense with him on your team, yet it's always "Carr's fault"

@turkfebz9037 Then you would be wrong. Carr has definitely made mistakes, but to say he's bad is literally idiotic. He kept you guys relevant. The Saints were down all their starting o-linemen except 1, hey had a Jets Practice Squad center starting. They are missing Taysom Hill, two starting Linebackers. Saints were never gonna beat a team when literally almost half the team is dealing with some sort of injury.

@@TheGridironYT the Raiders were bottom tier with Carr. Two playoff appearances in nine years is pretty bottom tier sounding. Not to mention, he only played in one of the playoff games, and they lost. In eleven total years, the offense he has manned has only finished in the top 10 one time. He has only thrown for 30+ TDs once in his career. Has never led the league in any major passing statistic.
