It does take a bit of concentration and touch to just simply tap it for a secured rebound or snag it. There are other bodies around while your main focus is stopping the shot...
"Kemp steps up and rejects, rebukes, refutes, denies, and generally sends it into orbit...I mean he spanked it!" One of the best lines of commentary I've ever heard.
Amen dude. IU never knew about this guy but Seattle, coincdentally, has one of the best baseball play-by-play guys of all time...Dave Niehaus. Look him up and tell me they aren't similar.
My favourite bench reaction is after Gerald Green's alley-oop windmill dunk. It's hilarious, because it's the rockets bench - the opposing team. They tried really hard not to show it 😂
Not many know about Big Ben Wallace anymore. Maybe the most underrated big man in league history. Wouldn’t help offensively but if you needed a block or rebound he was your man. BEAST.
When I play NBA in 2k Sports, I always create my own fantasy team of the players I like and I always include him. The guy's so underrated. It's no small feat being able to play in an All Star game for being a really good Defensive player. It's usually top scorers on that matter.
Right. Him and that Denver Nuggets squad was soooo fun to watch. It makes me appreciate the old NBA because you don't have utility players like that anymore; guys that we put on the floor solely for their defense, hustle, rebounding, etc.
04:40 Kemp didn’t just swatted the ball. Upon seeing that replay, you’ll notice that his had was already up there but he decided to cock it back then swat it for extra power.
I think I remember Bill Russell once commenting about how he didn't understand why players blocked shots out of bounds. He thought the better play was to keep it inbounds. Even if the opposing team gets it again it was better than no chance getting the ball.
well im no bill russel but i know that sending it out resets the possession, and if you just tip it thered be a scramble for the ball. when everyones scrambling theres no set defense
Great video! Everybody has gotten a shot blocked. Not nearly as many have had their weak shot attempts sent into the stands. It is the defensive equal of being posterized or having those ankles broken.
I remember bill Russell saying he used to block a shot but he alters the trajectory to land on to one of his teammates so they cud run for a break instead of blocking a shot out of bounds. Make sense
Anderson blocked that shot so hard and it went directly into dude's face 🤣 gotta be the most disrespectful thing you can do without the opponent calling for a foul
wow coshreport! you listened to the fans suggestion!!! :D love you man it shows you really care about your community. how about blocks but they become increasingly more clutch? ;)
One of the most satisfying, very satisfying and very addicting is to block a shot into the stands or to pin the ball on the backboard. At 5'10 44in vertical. So blessed to had the opportunity to do both block it into the stance and pin it on the backboard. But my favorite way to block a shot was to block it off the backboard hard 🖐🏼😤. Damn I missed playing this game of basketball so much.
Shoutout to @fewpoundcory for giving me this idea with his comment on my last video!
Have you done a video on crazy alley oops? there have been some really nice over the years!
Have you ever done best inbounds plays and they get increasingly more clutch or creative idk you're the expert 😂
Do high jumps but the player ascends farther into space
Cosh is a man of the people if I've ever seen one.
How about doing one with goaltending "but increasingly more blatant"?
I love how a good portion of these blocks could’ve been tipped and rebounded, but blocking it into the stands is much more fun
@@omgvague Exactly 💯
Some even could have just been snagged out the air too😂
@@masonjahnke If my shot gets snatched I'm just walking off the court my dude... That's worse than getting swatted to me.

Kevin Calabro is the best.
I heard "Kemp Pimp Slaps..."
and it was on a goaltend XD
Its an amazing block but in rules its goaltend, just miss it.
Amen dude. IU never knew about this guy but Seattle, coincdentally, has one of the best baseball play-by-play guys of all time...Dave Niehaus. Look him up and tell me they aren't similar.
That Shawn Kemp block was definitely a goal tend
So clearly lol!
Oh yes…that was clearly on the way down. If done today, that would be a successful challenge for a goaltend.
@@AEMoreira81 you cant challenge a no call bro
Last block of Bron too
like 4-5 of them were goaltends at least
*whispers* thats including a couple lebron ones
These blocks are so unnecessary but at the same time make the game fun to watch
Exactly. That's why I started doing it to friends cuz they call me extra and it's hilarious.
I mean they could get a TO but fuck that send it into space. I enjoy these blocks more than the same dunk thats run on sportsnet every night.
Necessary af because it gets your team hype and the crowd too if you’re at home 💪🏼
nah thats lowkey a great way to get your team hyped up and start/continue building momentum
Unnecessary? Ehm...okay🤷🏻♂️

😂

You should do bench reactions but they get increasingly crazier

Highlight reel of DLos Nets squad. Best bench reactions in all of Basketball history right there baby

Larry Bird vs Atlanta in New Orleans.
He was so hot that game the Hawks' bench were falling over each other going crazy for him.

He sent shots several rows into stands
1:06 ayo what is going on at the bench back there😂
I am impressed at the speed in which you put these comps together.
They missed Dwight Howard blocking Ray Allen.
0:09 the way D Rose just perfectly synchronized his own steps with the ones of Andre Miller was so crazy
1:05 Cj getting that Jamal Murray treatment mid game
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I thought i was the only one who saw 😮
I know the smart play is to just tip it to your teammate and start the fast break, but I love it when they bomb it to the 15th row
It's an intimidation factor too and can swing momentum the same way a poster dunk sparks more energy than a more effective layup would
@@skervenboireau4893 to the emotionals. just keep your racionality. this is just a dumb play
