    I just bought myself a tarp and gave up trying to pitch it as I started with the poles first! Can't believe I didn't think to peg it all down first 😅! Looks like I'll give it another go next time round and confident it will work now! Cheers 👍

      So glad I helped. Tarps can be a nightmare without pegging first, the pole just lifts it all into place. It’s a must with them. Hope the next trip will be better and glad I helped. God bless. 😊

    It`s a great tarp, that`s designed for, and better suited to traditional front-entry tents. It`s just a shame that the pole height isn`t adjustable, but it works perfectly with adjustable trekking poles.

      A good point, you could technically half the pole. But of course like you say you can get adjustable poles. I have one somewhere 🤣

    Great video. I have the black version of this and use it as a standalone shelter when sleeping in a bivy bag in wet weather. It's a very nice piece of kit - fairly lightweight and just the right size

      Ciprian IVAS thank you so much my friend. Great purchase. So many uses. One thing I missed and something I do a lot is using it as a shelter for kit outside. Just peg all the holes down and it keeps your kit dry.

    Good demo video, thanks! Just to point out that camping under trees in a storm should be avoided if possible.

      Absolutely folks. This was more about using a structure to tie the line. Many thanks my friend.

    Cheers for the review. Ivecjyst bought a Phoxx 2 tent to start taking the little one camping. What do u do if there isn’t a tree behind you? Do you just peg that rope in behind the tent ?

    • @camptube7621
      @camptube7621  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The tree just replaces the pole and I used it an example of versatility. You would use the pole if nothing else high up to use. Happy camping my friend.

    Tell me chief, will this go over or partly over the Vango Halo 200 Pro?

    • @camptube7621
      @camptube7621  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      My mate has a Halo and it will go over and have enough length in the lines to secure. You will have a small gap at each bottom but the length will do it.
      It doesn’t have the rear elevation like the banshee. You will just have the lines pegged down each side. If it was me I’d use the pole at the rear like I did in the video, and peg down at the front. Having a run off at the front. Only a small porch in the Halo - great tent for wind tho - and this tarp will definitely create a good dry space.
      Enjoy my friend.

      @@wildcampinginscotland6060 yes pal. You can buy king poles which can then be used to make a gazebo. Hope you enjoy it. You’ll see what an adaptable piece of kit it is. You won’t leave without it. Be well my friend.

      @@camptube7621 fella, hate to be an absolute pain in the arse, but this tarp, is there a point front and rear for the “king poles” and if so, what ones do you recommend?

    • @camptube7621
      @camptube7621  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@wildcampinginscotland6060 never a pain matey. Theres holes all around. You can choose which ones to use the pole on. I chose the end one for how I use it. You can put the pole in even if there’s lines in. It’s a very slim point on the pole. It’s completely adaptable to how you want to use it. There’s a spare line if you want to put lines in all of them. Anything else just ask bud.
