Just finished my second & final hair procedure on June 4,2024 fue hair transplant. Doctor gave me 1606 hair grafts. I just want to say I appreciate the video & advice.
Doctors should inform better about the phases after the transplant and about shock loss. They simply say that the hair you just implanted are gonna fall and regrow, but it's not that simple. I just had an hair transplant and I'm living a really delicate phase. I feel very depressed and I feel like if i could come back I wouldn't do this to my head. The psychological aspect of the hair transplant is so important.
I am on day 21 post surgery and experiencing the same phase: Hair shedding. Little hairs on my pillow in the morning and in my hands during the shower. I sometimes feel so worried whether all that hair will grow bach or if it's dead follicles. But I'm trying to be calm and possitive. I believe that being calm and not making a big deal it's the best solution.

@@mknotimi9057 it's basically the transplanted part of the head. Some hairs from the donor area also shed, but they are not many...that's the natural hair cycle shedding. The shedding of the transplanted hair really makes me nervous but I try to avoid looking at it all the time.
Thank you. This video has given me some peace of mind. I had a transplant 6 weeks ago on my crown and hairline but noticed a large thin part on the middle of my scalp, which was pretty thick before. I was worried that I was losing more hair when it seemed pretty stable. I look more forward to my end results now.
Shaved mine just looked cleaner. But my transplant wasn’t much. 1500 grafts..in the 6th month now.. hope it thickens a little more on the last 6 months

I just had a unshaven dhi 3000 grafts in crown and midscalp and 200 in frontlock. What they didn’t tell me before procedure was that there is a huge risk of shock loss in those who have diffuse thinning. Is shock loss really temporary? I’m day 12 post transplant and noticed a lot of native hairs shedding when washing scabs off and running my hands through my head. I can see my hair defusing by the day and it’s terrifying. I’m praying it’s temporary and the native hair grows back 😔

It seems like your longer hair is combed back to cover the balding spot. Can you show your crown brushed forward? Also, when did you notice real growth of follicles?

U need to understand ur hair / baldness os not the problem . Yes it is hard to bald and yes it can cause depression but in the end u are not your hair , also there is always a Micropogmentation head tattoo and to many people it looks cool. How are u now ?

Yea you can definitely use toppik after surgery. The hair needs to be at least a few cm in length though.

I agree buzzing your head short makes you look balder unless you do it super short like 1 guard or less
Actually I’d say zero guard or less. Even then you could see the difference clearly. No chance to disguise it either.

It's not recommended that you use any chemicals on your hair for at least 6 months after HT. Hair loss concealer IS a chemical material.

Hair fibers are made of keratin the same thing that hair is made up of, so its safe to use.

im at three months had 800 in the crown and 2400 in the front.... My crown looks 10x worse now than it did before my surgery.... This is normal??

I'm a month post op and hair concealer wouldmt look good on my balding lol. " wear a hat and be patient " is better advice lol
Depends on how much hair loss you have, if you’re Norwood 6 yea wear a hat. But if you have a decent amount of hair, concealer definitely helps.
@@HairTransplantNetwork I was a Norwood 4 and just 1 day post op now. I took 5 weeks off work to heal. Would it be fine to just wear a hat when I return to work for like 6-10 months until it looks okay to take off? How long would you recommend? Don't really want to use hair concealers.
