I emerged from the pit, only to feel a sudden draft force itself upon me. Did I dare to open my eyes? Of course I did. I felt cold specks falling on my face, and melting into little specks of water that merely faded away in a split second, though many got stuck in my previously dark red hair and stained it pale. Others fell on my eyebrows, yielding the same effect. They lodged themselves on my eyelashes as well, which was not nearly as effective given that they only carressed the tips, and were soon blinked away. Suddenly, it became a full- on blizzard that ravaged me from all directions and seemed to be trying to force my legs out from underneath my torso. Who knew what kinds of horrors lie ahead, or if I would live long enough to see them? Despite the creeping dread, I had to distancr myself from the hellish pit I had just emerged from. Although it was all the warmth I would find, my goal was ahead, and falling back in was not exactly favorable... I moved forward relentlessly, as the blizzard began to accelerate and become even more opaque, threatening all the more to freeze me in my tracks. I could see salvation from both Hell and Norn in the distance. A small building threatened by the blizzard yet untouched by it. There was undoubtedly insulation. If not, I would soon be dead. And what a relief! It was insulated. I could kiss these heaters! Seriously! The window was such a nice viewing point. I could appreciate the beautu of the blizzard. For convenient reference, those were my sentiments from four freaking months ago. Hell broke loose as soon as I began to explore the building that had become my salvation. It was cold hell. The blizzard blew in the background, ambiently so, as I stared upon this anticlimactically clean and warm place. In the middle of my field of vision was a small blur that my stressed and quite honestly confused mind mistakenly percieved as another human presence. I tried to address the other presence, and suddenly, it had begun all over again. I made the fatal mistake of seeming aggressive in my efforts to interact. How could this coldblooded beast blame me? I was desperate! The roof began to implode, trapping me while waterfalls of that same blue, thick, sticky substance that coursed through his veins drowned me, and I was soon frozen in it. in truth, i do not know how long i was trapped in there, but i know that four months have passed since i broke free. could i really call it breaking free, though? i woke from my dreamless sleep to find that i had become one with this... thing... by some screwed up knowledge, i have become infused with his traits by being frozen in his blood. we have become one and the same, doomed to wander this empty, blizzard- wrought landscape for all eternity. we are a suffering abomination, tortured by the conflict of it's being. in these months, i have tried everything. i tried to leave, but was chased back to the blizzard by the screams of thr townspeople. their cries ring constantly in my ears now, despite being far from civilization. every moment of every day, even when all such sounds should be drowned out by the fierce roar of the blizzard, I can hear an angry throng of cries wrought with the fear necessary to pray to the heavensent, begging for an answer to the identity of this thing that has begun to release it's condensated breaths on a momently basis. i even tried to find the hellfire again, in hopes of melting this frigid outer shell and finally escaping this new form of hell, but now it always lies just out of reach, torturing me with it's unreachable warmth and it's daunting roar. yet, somehow, there is serenity here at last. i came to this place to find peace, and at last, my life has some kind of simplicity. sure, that life is suffering, pure icy hell, but now all things are certain. call me crazy or masochistic, but a part of me is beginning to enjoy this. th3 scenery is beautiful. i can be here, admiring it, with no inhibitions or worries about death or starvation. i can speak to my other half as well. we discuss many things that the outside world is too afraid to address, things i have always dreamed about discussing. I finally have a home,a lifetime acquaintance. heck, even some of the wildlife has become my family. i have a stable home, no need to work, and a life that I can be happy with. I'm never bored. The snow is nice today. I have no need to drive over it. What more could i ask for? My life is, by definition, 'perfect'. i am perfectly content in my wintery little home, so i retract my earlier statement. this really was my salvation after all.
Getting tired of being fan of modern metal & electronics from time to time ... and Epic music is mostly lack of melody... so Yeah! That is what I was looking for. Rly good stuff! My ears are pleased. Thanks for upload!
It was cold and dark, my hands white from frost. My steps were getting slower, and shorter, as I walked through the snow-covered field. I could hear the howling breeze as it blew me side to side. The snow was soft to walk on, yet my feet were numb. A gush of snowy wind pushed me back, and I fell to my back. I could see the moon, hiding behind the gray clouds. It's light, dimmer and dimmer it got. I struggled to get up, my hands sinking in the freezing cold snow. I stood up, my legs shaking and stumbling. I heard a whisper behind me. "Shhh ..." it said. I reached a tree, and used it for balance. The voice I could still hear, perhaps just the wind. And then it got me. I was stopped. Frozen. I couldn't move. I felt cold. Colder than before. And that's the last thing I remember.
Hey what ever happend to making music from different cultures instead it is the same dark waltz/ fantasy/Greek stuff like maybe a Korea or Germanic music would be cool
New dark winter music... just what I needed to get through my writer's block. Not kidding, I thought of a new plot point I had been stuck on for about a month until I started listening to this new compilation. I don't know what it is about this type of music, but it's doing wonders for my muse. Thank you so much.
I know I feel the exact same way, then I get to listening to this music and it helps meditate my mind into more of a imagining mode therefore being able to get over that darn writer's block!
I'm a writer too. I can fully attest to the fact that there is power in the music that adds to your creativity. I think that the music flows, your thoughts flow, the ideas flow along with the music... it leads the muse to the thoughts, and the thoughts flow into the imagination.

My favorites in this compilation: Snowland 1:37-1:57 gives me the chills Blue Alpine Village 12:45 always gets me. I'd always look up from my work everytime I hear that part. The White Castle (most favorite) Very romantic and heart-touching.
_The wind passed through her hair like ghost fingers, sending a spiraling chill through her body as she closes her eyes to a soft melodic tune. As her clothes wrapped itself around her thin frame, the wind caressing her exposed skin, she lifts her pale fingers and brings her flute to pretty red lips. Taking a small breath, she begins to play a soft tune, as she flies over towns and villages; taking the awakened ones and dropping them off to sleep. If anyone could get a glimpse of her, she would look like a dark shadow passing across the light of the moon. Long dark hair, glowing blue eyes, a long white gown, and a flute in her grasp as she flies across the midnight skies on the back of a light blue dragon; playing her tune and lolling those who heard it into a deep slumber._

Tremendous aid in developing backstory for a fairly important npc in my dnd campaign. Wulfere the Banished. Trapped in the Plane of Ice for centuries. Kudos on a great mix of songs!

Absolutely beautiful!
Great for DND winter missions!
the best music, suits for Skyrim! And some other sci-fi fantasy such as Frozen and warcraft!
Crystal chimes is my absolute favorite!!!
I opened my eyes slowly, it was a whole new world, a bit cold. I was all alone yet could feel the presence of many, no one was there still hundreds of eyes were looking at me. The arora of unknown was in the air, I was walking all alone in the realm of unknown.
This is great for creative thinking!
