This is a sweet love story about how a straight-A girl student with high IQ pursues a former prince charming as well as an inspirational story about a hero who comes back to regain dream and friendship. Late at night, Han Shangyan pushed the door and walked into a small Internet café that Tong Nian, a computer wizard and graduate student, watched over for her cousin. The pure and open-minded Tong Nian fell in love with Han Shangyan at first sight. As they met each other more often, Tong Nian became attracted to Han Shangyan’s perseverance towards his dream and sense of responsibility towards his team members. In order to win a world championship for China, Han Shangyan had been dedicating himself to his team and competitions for years. Under the influence of Tong Nian’s support and understanding, Han Shangyan gradually opened his heart to his old fellows and family members and came to an understanding with them. Inspired by Han, Tong rejoined the school team and participated in ACM International Collegiate Programming Contest. FL's mother has had a bad attitude towards ML from the beginning... the thread about FL sleeping in the ML club is not sticky, because FL generally slept in the dormitory during the week, and from what was said she was at home on weekends, so the question is whether her parents monitored her whereabouts all week long? Is? Or only on weekends. It makes no sense to create such a scandal because of one night away from home... if she doesn't answer the phone on time, the parents will start a scandal, and the girl is an adult... This episode is the only "plothole" I could find. No way is Tong Nian randomly drinking his liquor. It makes no sense for her character after everything we've seen in 30+ episodes. I know they needed a drama plot point reason for the parents to know they're dating but it just seemed out of character for her. Still love Han in a suit!!!😍😍😍😍

Uh no offense to the side couple, but to me, they have no chemistry at all. I love the Xiao Mi actor's acting 💯. But the actress playing Yaya exaggerates her acting a lot. Her acting skills are somewhat lacking imo. She is quite beautiful btw. I love the character she plays. Altogether, I personally think they can't get close to the chemistry of the main couple.

Even then when Han is giving it his all, talking with her parents, she STILL just sits there, not speaking up and standing by Han or for their relationship. Her dad has always been open minded and understanding, that would've been enough for me and the fact that Han was confident enough to face her mom... I would've stood by the man that I so called loved so much. You can't keep your relationship and your feelings hidden(from them at least) forever. Like her dad said, she's not a kid anymore, she's an adult and she needs to start acting like one bc this is ridiculous. It's ep. 33 and Nian is still doing the same stuff, still lying, not standing up to her mom and being childish. Yet Han, the "bad guy," has been the only one changing, or at least trying to change... not only for their relationship, but for himself and those he cares about. I LOVE the dad, but he can also be a little weak too, in the sense that he doesn't really put his foot down either when it comes to his wife and just tells her what she wants to hear to avoid her getting upset(father & daughter)
