Nobody loves you as much as gnomes & me . I used to not like them. But now I can't get enough of them. Making a list of what I need to make them. Thank you for your time on this video.
Stumbled onto your video this morning, great NEW ideas for the terracotta pots and saucers. You gave me some wonderful ideas for the back porch! thank you.
O my gosh I just love them all ha. Now on the look out for terracotta plant pots ha ha. Love the hanging ones as I have to keep plants out of reach of my dogs or the eat the soil lol so may have a go with strong string or rope possibly as we get lots of rain and I think the yarn may not be strong enough. Thanks so much for sharing these they really are so good xx
Enjoyed this video so much..great ideas for the terra cotta pots..i think my favorite was the garden gnome..he was so cute!!! I loved them all...so fun and easy...thanks
Couple of tips when using terra-cotta. Always remember the terra-cotta absorbs water so your plant might need to be watered more often as the water is pulled from the soil into the terra-cotta. Also if you are painting the outside of the pot and you don’t seal the inside the water will soak into the terra-cotta overtime and ruin your paint job. I know this from experience. These are some great projects. I look forward to trying some of them.
@@grassyshock Clean the flower pot by wiping away any dust and dirt with a slightly damp sponge or rag. Next, seal the flower pot by applying two coats of sealer-inside and out-using either Clay Pot Sealer or FolkArt Outdoor Sealer. Allow the first coat to dry completely before applying the second coat. Once dry, then apply your decorative paint. Choose appropriate paint whether the pot will be used inside or outside.
Loved the fact you are using real plants. Too early here in Michigan to plant, but I am longing to garden. Water with miracle grow to keep everything alive.
Wish I could 👍🏻 this video 100 times! Love these crafts! Thank you! I’m excited to make the gnome! So stinking’ cute! Loved all the creations. Want to make them all!
I would add two additional tips: ••paint and seal underside of saucer; ••cut felt to the size of the saucer bottom and either glue it on or use the pre-glued felt that comes in sheets.
The terra-cotta wind chime and gnome are so adorable! Course I love all of the projects you made! Tip for flowers in pots. They need watering every day or nearly every day. Make sure they stay moist. You can use a natural fertilizer once a month. Honestly, I wouldn’t use miracle grow. I would use a soil that has manure in it instead. Many blessings to you and your family! Thank you for sharing your colorful ideas! Perfect for spring and summer!
Oh my goodness Shannon...every diy is awesome! I love them all!!! You are so talented! As always, thank you for sharing your creativity, talent and inspiration! Stay safe, healthy and positive! GOD bless you and your family! 🙏❤🇺🇸🌞
I loved all of the projects you made. Other than the terra cotta pots I have everything needed to make all the projects. I definitely want to make the wind chimes to hopefully chase away the magpies.
Hi Shannon I loved all of your terracotta diys. I liked your gnome, the 3 tiered flower pot and the twine flower pot holder. Great job! It was a pleasure to watch. Thank you Take care
I couldn't pick a favorite because I like them all! You gave me a lot of ideas for my patio! I also don't have a green thumb 🙃 TYFS enjoy your evening 🌻
These are ME! I am the terra cotta queen!! I can't believe I didn't think to make a gnome. You need to use spray paint and seal. Acrylic paint peels. Heading to your FB page to show you my elephants and giraffe I make
Greetings from another terracotta addict! The coasters are wonderful and soooooo versatile, I use them upside down on top of my drink to keep bees and other bugs out! Windproof too! Thanks for all you do to inspire!
Love the colors you used in these. I love love love this one with the pebbles and the glass with the tea candle. I can not help you keep anything alive, it will also end up dieing on me...lol, really love the simplicity of the saucer on the upside down pot. All off these are so inspiring!!!
The terra cotta coasters are fun and would make a nice addition to a gift basket with a picnic theme. Thanks so much for sharing and I hope you’re having a fabulous week so far Shannon. As far as your green thumb is concerned one of the common issues is overwatering. Water early in the morning or late in the day. Stick your finger an inch or two in the dirt...if it’s dry then water but if not, let it be. Many plants die from overwatering and having good drainage is also key (which you’ve done with the holes in the pots and stones in the bottom). Some “vitamins”mixed with water occasion don’t hurt eithe. (We use Miracle Grow on florals and follow directions on the box.) Hope this helps...happy gardening! 🤗🌸🌺 #kindnessmatters
Love the gnome. And everything else. Best thing to keep your dirt damp not overly damp. But when the pedal start dying pull them off and they'll come back
I love every single one of these projects! When I was the coordinator of an elementary school before and after care program, we made many clay pot projects over the years...even a bird bath! I still see parents of those kids and they tell me that they're still putting out those projects when the season, etc. calls for decor. It makes me feel really good! I enjoyed this so much and I'm so happy you used versatile clay pots! I can't pick a favorite that you made! Oh..and the teachers used to call me the clay pot queen!
I've been stacking terra cot pots in different ways, for years. I paint things like flowers, bflies, & dots on them, & use as ornamentals in the garden. It's so fun & so many ways to stack them. Good gifts, too. Cheaper than buying garden ornaments. Just found your channel & am binge-watching. Thk u for more cool ideas!! Love your channel! 😊🌻🦋
Love ❤️ all your DIYS! I really liked all these great ideas for terra cotta pots. I also love 💕 your channel. Thanks for always sharing your creative ideas with us. Great job 👏
I love the tiered planters and the ability to customize them for the colors you need. Now, instead of trying to find new cushions for my outdoor furniture that will match my pots, I can make it easier and select a pattern that I love and paint the pots to coordinate!
Can’t wait to make a gnome and wind chime with my grandson! He will love painting pots! Love all the pretty bright colors you chose today! Thanks for the fun ideas!
To Lynn Neinast: My grandson is visiting us from Hawaii later in June! I’m going to have him make the gnome and wind-chime also. He’ll be able to carry them back to Hawaii with him for the garden. Thank you for the tip!

Loved all of them! Such cute ideas With the petunias, just make sure to dead head the spent flowers and keep them watered since the terracotta dries out your plants quicker than others and they will bloom all summer long 🙂
I really liked the simple idea of using the small pot as a candle holder. You could put the saucer as you did or upside down as well! Also, you did a great job on the pink yarn plant hanger. What is that beautiful green plant you put in it?
Oh my goodness these are all so amazing! I think my favorite is the wind chimes. I really like all the colors used on all your projects. Thank you for sharing your ideas.
These were all so fun and colorful for the spring and summer. Loved them all! Your petunia's will need a bigger pot at some point, lots of sunlight and a little plant food and they should thrive. Hugs, Brenda
