Great comics mate, I think I might have had one of those... not 100% sure but all lovely books for sure. Gold kryptonite and the super pets debuting at this time, but not in these books but Adventure I think I heard you say. Comet is a very odd character, he nearly had a relationship with Lois Lane at one point. Do you collect Lois and Jimmy Olsen comics?
Thanks for watching Greyman. No I don't collect LL or JO, had to draw the line somewhere, but I do wish I'd picked up some of the earlier Adventures with Superboy in, just so I could have the 1st appearances I keep finding out about!
How did you decide the pronunciation of the Super Imp would sound - always just called him Mr Maxwell when talking with my brother about comics with him in.
@@robsiona Thank you for watching, and your question, in most of the early Superman books when Mr. Mxyzptlk appeared there used to be a help balloon on how to pronounce his name. Most of the time it told you Mix-yez-pitel-ick, so that's what I've always used. Also when he was first introduced in Superman Vol 1 #30 in 1944, it was spelt slightly differently it ended ztplk. The spelling we see now in a sense is a spelling mistake, but that's the one they kept! I like Mr. Maxwell though, if you and your brother know what you mean does it matter, lol!
Very nice!
Thank you for watching Chris, yes they are very nice! Flicking through, the smell is wonderful, lol!
first like, then watch 🔥🔥🔥
Thank you for watching, yes it would nice be if I had more thumbs up!
3:51 there we go!!! ❤
I should of been more clear about that cover, it was the condition of it I was talking about, not the cover art itself! Thanks for watching Chris!
