    I've only watched Luca Brecel a few times over the years, but he seems more upbeat here. It's nice to see.
    Excellent work as always, Cesar.
    All the best from the left side of the pond.

    Great match. I didn't think the one handed shot cost Brecel the match, but not sure why he did it. Really though, one hand, two hand, it was iffy where the red was going to end anyway. I'm very impressed with his play over the years.

      Brecel had to graze the red using one or two approach attempts to make sure. But you don't do that with one hand, unless you have already won everything in the game, as Williams has :)
      The way Luca played the escape earlier in the frame was a bad sign.

      He was sure that it would be O.K> but it didn't have enough weight and left the table open to Judd Trump and he punished the new rivals attempt to thwart the current champ...it was a great match even though...

      @@CesarMuroya Yes, he just needed to hit the red a little thinner. But at this pace you can play this shot pretty controlled one-handed. He might have played this way out of sheer frustration as Trump got very lucky with that snooker to begin with.

    Luca is looking better,he just needs to reign in his emotions/adrenaline.He was using too much power in some shots when a more delicate touch was needed.Think in time he will learn this and do well.He has come far this last year.

    The one handed shot was very unprofessional and cost him the match...

    • @Handless_handle

      Nonsense approach, he is not the only player to have this approach with angle finding on certain shots!

    • @AnthonyCarrier
      @AnthonyCarrier ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@Handless_handle you do not attempt trick shots at this level against the reigning world champion...He had less control on the one handed shot and it cost him the game and match...I know it he knows it and Judd Trump knows it...an not so much a trick shot rather than an error in judgment due to lack of discipline...!

    • @sdrtcacgnrjrc

      @@AnthonyCarrier you may be correct. OTOH, Mark Williams regularly uses a one-handed shot for getting out of snookers, and that very successfully

    • @AnthonyCarrier
      @AnthonyCarrier ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@sdrtcacgnrjrc yeah that's fine buy has no bearing on what happened in this game he wasn't trying to get out of a snooker he was trying to play a safety shot and half hardheadedly attempted it under pressure and erred costing the him the game and the match and I am sure he is going to bounce back and become a force to be reckoned with as he almost beat the world champ in 2022...

      Guys I didn't mean unprofessional in the meaning of disrespect showmanship but more in lack of judgment or undisciplined or maybe fatigued...There is a lot of pressure on every shot and nobody's perfect...
