177. Spectators: What about a music event ? If it’s outside is it attended by the spectators or the audience ? If the opening ceremony is in the museum eg, is it still the audience ?
What should i do if i know almost all these words but my general english test defines my knowledge as B2 only and I desparately want to develop it. My core interests are business and legal English, i`m fine with reading and listening skills but fluent speaking is more challenging according to the lack of practice. Maybe someone can suggest effective ways to improve speaking? Thanks a lot for your videos
Hi! So many people are looking for the same thing, but imho it does not exist. There is only 1 way to improve speaking skills and it’s… speaking! You have to find a confident English speaker (not necessarily a native speaker) and you have to speak to them for at least 3 hours per week. The difficult thing is to find this person. One day I hope to create a big network of teachers and a way of matching students with like-minded teachers, but until then you’ll have to use your contacts or a service like SkyEng. Don’t worry about actively learning new grammar or vocabulary - it should be pure speaking practice.
My guess is it's to do with whether it can be or is supposed to be filled. I don't think hollow things are meant for that, maybe leaning towards natural cavities and spaces (if we take this spatial sense only)

Hi! I didn't group the words thematically because so many words don't fit neatly into a category. If your English is advanced, it shouldn't be too difficult for you to write your own example sentences. If you want to find other examples, go to Youglish.com and watch some clips with each word. You can also try 'shadowing' the different speakers there.

@@benhopkinsenglish 'предположить' is the russian word for 'assume'. it's also the same word for 'presume'. In your example we'd definitely say 'я думал ты уже будешь здесь'. you can say 'я полагал....' which is a form of 'предположить'. It's confusing! :D
