    I really like your style, you are very practical and have some very good handling skills unlike some other horrific videos I have seen. Happy grooming!!

    This dog’s parents grew her out for six months just for this but didn’t want to keep the cut for even just a little while?!?!? That’s wild but kind and I’m glad I got to see it. Great video.

    Love the way I can watch you do the muzzle up close, not to mention your commentary is perfect along with how you move her head so we can see exactly the area you're talking about and how you cut it. Thank you Joanne.

      Your interaction with the doggies is encouraging to see. It’s respectful and they want to please you as all of our dogs do , it’s built into them. Rather you are the companion of the dog of a groomer friend he visits every couple of months, he can leavevthete with a feeling of respectful interaction. And thank you for your respect to your audience, you are teaching us with s great deal of clarity and consideration from our limited viewpoint. Thank You, Mimi

    OMG THANK YOU FOR POSTING THIS VIDEO YAY !!!! You are awesome . I have been a groomer for 25 years now. When the "japanese teddy bear clip" came out I didn't have time to take any classes. I have been to busy so I kept looking online for a video of how to shape the beard. I kinda had an idea how to shape it but still wasn't getting it perfect until i saw your video . I love that clip and have a toy poodle I love doing the clip on him .You are really good at explaining things and very easy to follow . excellent Groomer very talented. You made me so happy . Thank you

    what should I be doing for half puppy and half adult hair on a 6 mos poodle? I am undecided, as it doesn't stand up too much yet, but is very thick and hard to dry so...not sure how long to keep in puppy trim

      Can you be more specific? Are you asking what you should do for maintenance? Or style? Do you do all your own grooming or take to a professional?

    Hye there madam or sister. Can i know or can give some tips for getting fluffy hair for puppies?And also can tell about blanders you used for grooming.

    • @itzaclip
      @itzaclip  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If you mean how to get hair to be more fluffy or more volume it's in what you use to wash them and how you dry them. If you literally mean " puppies" as in dogs younger than 6 months old,I mainly use my Anionic wall mounted fluff dryer and brush with soft slicker. I slowly introduce a small variable speed hv dryer..
      I use k9 competition and Melanie Newman mainly. Both dry fast, you want to blow dry the root first, then finish with heated fluff dryer and brushing. I do like to use a heated HV as well so that the air isn't cold when you start.

    I’m new at grooming my babies. Do u think I need to order #2 & maybe a # 3? I would love to b able to groom like you do. I guess my “eye” sees something different & that’s what worries me! For example, I thought the leg looked cute when u said it looked heavy. I think she’s adorable! I honestly feel like I need to pay someone to help me one on one because I feel so lost. 😭 My babies look horrible & it makes me feel aweful. 😢

    • @itzaclip
      @itzaclip  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Kim Marquis what breed do you have? Choice of length depends on thickness of hair, And build of dog ( fatter dogs you can go shorter on and it looks longer).
      Also your maintenance ability, more hair means more upkeep

    • @itzaclip
      @itzaclip  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Kim Marquis for grooming tips I suggest buying Jodi Murphy DVDs. She has ones that cover all the basics plus specific breed trims. You will learn everything for great low price.

      itzaclip I have a Maltese, 2 Maltipoos, a Husky & then a rescue which looks a lot like a Yorkie mix. I’ve watched so many videos & it’s like I’m thinking....ok I got this BUT then when I put one of my babies on the grooming table, ITS A WHOLE DIFFERENT STORY!!!!!! I end up crying every time. 😢

    What clippers do you use? And how long have you had them?

    • @itzaclip
      @itzaclip  5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Wahl cordless ( I'm using berretto) with guard comb

    • @itzaclip
      @itzaclip  5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Regarding how long I've had them. I have owned my Wahl lipro the longest (6 years) and berretto about 3, bravura2, Arco 1. I try all the models so I can give feedback on them as I sell them too. The lipro is quietest.b the berretto has smoothest and fastest spm. I could live without Arco it's a trimmer, not a good clipper. Bravura lithium is way better than the older style ones. It been dependable.

    This style doesnt seem very practical in areas where there is a lot of grass and stickers. I would think all the hair around the feet would be a magnet for it all.
