Hello, Sharon! Just had to tell you again how much I LOVE this card! So, I went n’ tried it! On my first effort, I was “pretty close” in doing the steps~~but the “centers” didn’t match up “just right” ~~~so I tried it again (I was bound n’ determined to “get it right”!)). I first made a template from white cardstock to use for the cutting of the 3” x 10” strip; I laid the template on the vellum n’ marked lightly w/a pen; then I placed it on my trimmer, lining up my marks in the cutting groove n’ cut! VOILA!! It came out perfectly! Then, I scored my vellum, folded n’ the centers lined up RIGHT ON! I WAS THRILLED! I now have the template ready to use again for whenever I want to do the double drapery folds! Just had to share “my tip” with you~~~and maybe you’ll like it, too! Worthy of another card n’ video???!!! HAPPY STAMPIN’ n’ CREATIN’! And my thanks again for the wonderful directions/video for a LOVELY card creation! BTW, I made my card for a “special birthday” for a friend who is also a stamper/cardmaker and I KNOW she’ll love it, too! :-))

I LOVE this double drapery fold with this vellum! Excited to do this :)...I noticed where the right side of the cardstock in the middle was longer than the left side...in the middle after you folded the score lines...how were you able to fix that in case it happens? LOL And why was it so much longer if you know so I can try to avoid that happening? LOL...because if it can go crooked on me it will! haha. Thank you :)
I'm trying to figure out your question! Do you mean the card base itself? If so, sometimes when I score and fold my ends don't quite meet. I then line them up, use my bone folder and press toward the score line. That fixes it! If I didn't answer your question please reply! I am happy that you loved my Double Drapery Fold card with Vellum, I was pretty proud of it!!!
