That's how we Marched every service at Cornerstone Institutional Baptist Church as well as the Southern California Community Choir, back in the day!!! I miss those days!!!!
I think this group is from California or the Contemporary Adult Division. I'm leaning towards CAD based on the ages and faces I see. In the past California has always done this March in. But I could be in error.
Not that at all. The choir is voluntary. Nobody is being forced against their will. With that said the choir went from Marching to running in. Try that in some heels. And the night before (Saturday) there was a late night session. They had to be ready and out the door by 745am.
Looking happy is subjective. But the choir is huge. So, the back may not know what the front is doing. And the since the movement changed they may not have been able to synchronize their walking and singing. They went from marching to running. Try that in heels. And some were up and at it 6am.
It's because they went from Marching to running in. Sometimes you can't do both. And the size of the choir and hall might have precluded some from being able to focus.
We need to go back to old school Baptist church

Thats how they marched in at the late Rev.James Cleveland Cornerstone Institutional Baptist Church 11o clock service.

Opening Sunday is communion and the start of the convention! We always wear white on opening Sunday!
