If you prefer just roaming around the city then tasm 1 is better in that since you can perch into street lights and building corners. If you also like the centered camera angle then tasm 1 will also be an option
But if you prefer better visuals, animations and voice actor then tasm 2 will do better at those. The story depends on your liking on which game has the better one

can anyone help me, the controls are bugged for me in the 1st game, all the controls are too big and they overlap with each other, the map is bugged too, it's low resolution and also bigger than it should be, how are the controls normal in this gameplay?
Normal gameplay has normal/small controls, just do a thing go to games options/settings change it from there or delete game and reinstall it

The combat on tasm 2 was great, mixing up combos and finishers were a great add, the graphics was a huge upgrade on tasm 2 with shadows and GFX being improved alot.
Animation honestly goes to both, the web swinging was (debatable) better in tasm 1 though.
The cutscenes goes to tasm 2, the skin bs doesnt matter as it doesn't effect the gameplay experience in any way.
The "npc" texture or we just call it, TEXTURE, obviously goes to tasm 2 (very obvious, as i say).
Oh forgot to add, the content in tasm 2 was just better, especially the random events.
The suits goes to tasm 2, the effects of web and everything was top notch, especially the symbiot suit.
Obviously tasm 2 wins, in nearly everything, probably 97%

Both games shoot webs towards the sky, the only reason spiderman can swing in central park in tasm 2 is because there is something on top of the park (cant remember what its called im being dumb rn) though tasm 1 has better swinging mechanics and camera movements but the only reason i like tasm 2 more is because the voice actor on it is just better than the one is tasm 1
Tasm 2 has better fighting animations aswell unlike in tasm 1 where they reused total mayhems fighting mechanics, you can also wallrun and most obvious of all, better graphics

Well tasm 1 was made way before tasm 2 so it is expected that tasm 1 wouldn't look as great but if there's anything i want from tasm 1 that should've been in tasm 2 is perching. It would be so much more easier to get on to areas that requires balance
