I am praying for you. My mother had stage 3b. Best wishes for this drug to work. As a nurse that’s interested in and researched the bodies ability to heal, you could try high dose vitamin infusions via IV. Doctors won’t do this, but there are free standing infusion clinics that will. And they have a physician on board that makes recommendations for patients and what cocktails of vitamins and minerals they need. Again, I’m praying for you and your healing. ❤️🩹
I have just been diagnosed with an incurable grade 4 kidney cancer myself. So my heart really does go out to you. I hope that you're able to beat this absolute bastard of a disease
Make sure that you under stand the difference between Grade 4, and Stage 4, those are entirely different things. I expect that you are Stage 4. I don't think that Grade 4 exists for kidney cancer. People tend to live with kidney cancer for a long time, with good quality of life. You should be fine, but it's important that you understand your cancer better.

You are correct about stage vs grade where cancers are concerned, however the information that I have on printed paper are the words "Stage 4, metastatic non clear cell renal cell carcinoma" I.E. Stage 4 kidney cancer that has spread. You're also correct that a lot of people with kidney cancer can live a good few years after their diagnosis, especially if it's caught early enough, however in my personal case, I had ZERO symptoms until it was way to late to do anything about it. It's in my lungs, both kidneys, liver, and bones, with how rapidly it has been growing and doing it's thing, my oncology team (including a 2nd opinion) I have got less than a year left at this stage of my disease. I hope that clears up any misunderstanding :)
HGSC----High Grade Serous Carcinoma, is the typical kind of ovarian cancer. Its tendency to recur, is based primarily on the stage at which it is discovered. Stage 3 is late stage, hence her 80% probability of recurrence. I hope she fares well.
