The 2400W anker is $1,999.00. The 2400W ecoflow is$1,999.00. July 3, 6 and 10 ecoflow had it on sale 🎉at $1,699. There is not a $700 difference from one to the other when compared to similar Watts. They have the same price.
I love your channel. My family moved to Sandpoint in 1978, and lived off-grid until they got electricity in about 1996, then they got their well. They had an outhouse, and creek water until then.
The deck looks create. Putting a sealer on will help protect the look. As a note on power tools, when you start the planer, the wattage consumption may exceed twice the normal wattage of a running machine. It's called "instantaneous power". It lasts only to the point of normal operation.
You might try 2"X2" post to interlock the inside corners of the plank boards. This way the front blanks will be tied into both side planks so the front hand rai will be as strong as the sum of all nails.
Maybe run some 2x10 planks under the 2x8s across the front to make a table for bbgs.. or just 2 corner tables built under the planking so you have a safe area for glasses so they wont fall off. then a nice oak stain..looks good tho.
I can't think of anything more rewarding than building my/our cabin, etc. with my wife. I am pretty sure I can say it applies to the both of you. Here's a tip from someone who knows... I would (while they are small) start removing any tree that will obscure your view tomorrow. It is so much easier when they are small. Trust me.
Ah, the mark of a sociopath. Thanks for watching! 100% agree on the trees, they might lift the deck to the roof of the container. Rooftop treehouse deck.
Hello my dears, I love your videos on both channels and it really takes a lot of evil to do what you did there, but as I have seen you are not people to give up. I believe you will be blessed for so much effort that you have even when you feel like giving up never lose that smile of yours you are a very hardworking couple. hugs
I mean this as constructive criticism.......are you considering putting maybe a 4x4 in the corner to tie together all your boards? I just think it could be a weak point as your boards age. Better to be safe than sorry. I just wouldn't want anyone to get hurt. Loved your show as usual. Never miss an episode!
Even as much work as you put into aligning the boards on the corners, without a post to attach in the corners, they will not be aligned or even touching each other after a year due to natural warping and settling of the support structure.
Keep pushing your commercials and sponsors. They are helping your channel. Don’t listen to the negative, if you know how TH-cam channels work, you know to help support. Thank you for sharing.
Boy, if one was playing a drinking game and had to take a drink every time you said Anker then we’d all be very drunk. Nice work, but way overboard on advertising.
The railing looks good. I said this before but come 5-8 years from now you will be sorry you have those trees running through you deck. Trust me on this one.
Hi lordens , we think if you stand on the top of your hill top container look 360’ the homes you see are most probably the arsonist’s ❤ ☮️ because of the change of there views . Good luck
Not many people have $2000 laying around for the power supply’s. Using more than half your videos advertising something we can’t afford and not interested in. TH-cam is turning into commercial shows. 😡
Wow - plopping a shipping container like a wart atop a pristine hill for an ABNB rental seems more like active remote exploitation lording versus "laid back living."
I enjoyed you videos until you went overboard with the infomercials. Every videos now features a power supply. I don't mind once in a while so you can make money but it is out of control. I'm out of here. Good luck and I hope you don't lose all you subs.
Have to say I love you guys and what you do on your homestead. That said, I no longer “enjoy” watching these videos that are mostly ads for your sponsorships. The entire video is more focused on the sponsored product than the actual project… and while I’m happy you have sponsorships for your channel, it feels like someone is shoveling the product down my throat. Back in the day when you first started doing sponsored videos you did them like most people do, you filmed the sponsored item or ad and edited it into the video and it was back to the content.
It seems like people are unhappy about all these useless ADS. Ads vs SUBSCRIBERS is what you have to take into consideration. You can either keep the Ads or not lose your subscribers! You most likely can't have both. JUST A THOUGHT!!!!
We have been watching your channel for about 18 months and enjoy your content. However this episode and a few of your more recent ones seem to have crossed the line from sponsored vids to infomercials. I understand the need to maintain sponsorships but when the company's product becomes a major focus of the episode rather than an element of same, it becomes an infomercial, which is less interesting to watch for many people. Maybe something to consider in your future vids.
I need more evergreens 🌲 in my life.
Great stuff as always.
I ONLY by Anker 👊🏻.
Thanks man! Hope all is well out your way!
@@LaidBackLiving Same 👊🏻
😂😂😂😂 we came over from the other channel

It's a wonderful place to have a cup of coffee on the deck and I love the mountains good job
Sorry bought a Eco flow and it runs great and its 700 hundred less than the anchor
Eco flow is better and anker is having a bunch of issues with there units

Good content but WAY TOO Much Advertising !!!
Mike and Liz, your railing project sure looks very professional and will make the deck safe for many years. Blessings to you two great folks.
Martin Johnson here to look over the great work you're doing everything looks great
Enough with the battery and why are there trees coming through the deck?
Yeah i second that to much advertising, one more thing are you going to fill in that space behind the bench or put in another set of steps?
The deck looks create. Putting a sealer on will help protect the look. As a note on power tools, when you start the planer, the wattage consumption may exceed twice the normal wattage of a running machine. It's called "instantaneous power". It lasts only to the point of normal operation.
Nice job guys slow and steady gets it done be careful and safe guys
Good Morning Guys!! 😀❤🌻
Patio is so nice
Martin Johnson & Off-Grid Living sent me 🙂
Maybe you need some solar lights up there to scare off intruders and cameras. Great work on the rail.
AAAAH Gods' Country!🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Maybe Add a primitive FLAGPOLE 🇺🇸.

These two work so well together!
Love the channel, but like to watch the videos, not the commercials FYI.

The sockets of this powerbox really could use covers.
The deck and the railing look great. The finished place will be a nice hideout.
Coming in from Martin Johnson - Off Grid Living
You folks have a great channel 😊
I like the trees growing through the deck. At some point, they'll be big enough to provide some support.
Ah, the mark of a sociopath. Thanks for watching! 100% agree on the trees, they might lift the deck to the roof of the container. Rooftop treehouse deck.
Decorate for Christmas 🎄

You should use carriage bolts on the upright posts
If I had a nickel for every time I had to weld a bar to a carriage bolt to keep it from spinning during removal, I’d have a pocket full!
@@LaidBackLiving that’s funny I’ve been a deck carpenter for 40 years never have I had to do that and I live in Alaska sorry I won’t comment anymore
Super excited to see the progress!!!!!
Glad your channel is growing to the point where you're getting sponsors.
Thank God you have put a railing up, we have been worried for the safety of your dogs

That is really impressive that it ran the planer! Wow
Might need another post on each side, your rails are pretty thin stock.
Pretty nice varanda and what a beautiful sight 🎉
The railing looks awesome! I'd put some solar deck lights on the railing for night life, but looking great! Love ya'll ❤
You have got a great view from up there on you cabin sun deck.
Suggest putting up a camera somewhere to catch the thieves next time. Thanks for sharing this video nice work
The sun deck guardrail came out very nice. I likely the design you came up with. Beautiful guys!
Wow the railing really looks nice you are doing great 👍
you are one of my 2 favourite channels the other being Ted and Jenna of The life in Pines, don’t know if you know them or not
Martin Johnson sent me! Great content, I subscribed!
I watch your commercials too
I am jealous of the cabin! The top railing might get saggy on you, maybe another support in the centers?
How about a railing on the stairs....watch for "mary'....and a back rail for the bear plank seat!!!!!! Lookin good.
Keep pushing your commercials and sponsors. They are helping your channel.
Don’t listen to the negative, if you know how TH-cam channels work, you know to help support.
Thank you for sharing.
Nice railing, except surprised you choose such wide boards covering up the view.
YOU NOW NEED A RAILING ON THE OUTSIDE OF YOUR STEPS
Great job, your rails look beautiful.
Good job filming and editing.
Looks great y’all! Love that you let the trees grow through the deck but wondering how a few years of growth is going to affect things.
Was wondering that also.
Hi guys👍🖐️
Martín Johnson Sent me! Keep smiling! (I subbed)
Are you going put hand rail on steps...❤
sent by Martin Johnson - Off Grid Living to spread some luv

I think the trees growing through your deck will be a pain for you until you remove them.
Saw you from Martin's channel
Your home looks a lot like Ambition Strikes home there in north Idaho. I found you from Off Grid Living.
