I think you should get some “ fingerless” gloves to help with your white fingers. I do that a lot myself and it sure helps .( I’m not telling you what to do)🤦♀️🥰. He( your son), totally believed you could drive his vehicle home…..and you did !!❤🎉 I love this yarn you got is very very pretty !! Can’t wait to see what you put together !!!
I love sitting and listening to you Kayla. I could picture you figuring out how to drive Elijah's truck, lol. I didn't realize those yarns are considered pattern yarns. Oh, when they have those shelves stocked it's all so pretty.
I'm glad to see you smiling more every time. Just keep thinking of projects to do as you will definitely do them. With you there's always a way. Hugs 🤗😇
Kayla thank you for your videos...they are always a treat to watch. Your strength is amazing and can't wait to hear you are crocheting again. God bless!
I love your sense of humor. You make me feel like we have known each other forever. I love your stories. As they say where there’s a will there’s a way. Your kids sound awesome. Making sure mom and dad are okay. ❤
And, thank you for sharing your projects too. Can’t wait to see what you crochet your boys. They sound like they are anything mama. You are blessed. Glad Big Daddy takes care of you when you need tending too & those puppy dogs are the cutest. I miss my grand kitty. He was my crochet buddy but he died of jaw cancer last 🎃ctober at 9 years old. He stole a piece of my ♥️. They’re such a comfort.
I don't know if anyone has ever told you this before but you are a great storyteller! You add so much humor and detail which draws a person into it! Elijah's dogs are just beautiful and anyone can tell how much they love and trust you. How is Phoebe? Please give her a kiss and a hug.
Hi Kayla I'm new to your channel, been watching for about 2 weeks but I just want you to know that I love your bubbly personality and the way you are handling things. You are a joy and I want to tell you that even without all your fingers YOU ARE ENOUGH! Sending you a big hug from Chicago.
Oh, I love the turquoise yarn & the birdsong yarn! Both are absolutely gorgeous! Yes, we have turquoise as the main colour decorations for our Christmas tree for a beach theme colouring, as it's Summer here for Christmas & we live really close to the beach. Django is adorable & clearly loves you! Ginger is gorgeous too! You were really courageous driving Elijah's truck so soon after surgery! 🥰 Blessings from South Australia💕🐨
I absolutely love Hobby Lobby's I LOVE THIS yarn. It's nice and soft and 4 weight easy to work with. Love all their colors and variegated. Praying for your healing. You have such a wonderful sweet attitude. You are amazing.💕😀
It's lovely to see you laughing and smiling again, I love your stories also makes me laugh 😂 I do like your yarn lovely, I'm sure you will be crocheting again, just will take some time. Much love from Ann 🥰 💕
Kala’ you are so sweet and have such a great smile when you’re telling your stories. The car one was so funny as you were figuring how to drive with your new hand configuration. Thanks for sharing your yarn haul. I do like the Cobblestone and Birdsong and can’t wait to see them worked up. I am so glad you will be getting strap devices to help with your gripping. I understand they are quite helpful. I have such a big yarn stash and am trying to use that up before I buy any more, but then I saw pumpkin patterns and didn’t have the right colors so, of course I bought some. Sending the very best energies for accelerated healing. I do hope you keep your hands warm. ❤
Oh how I adore your videos!!! I always get my current WIP (making my first amigurumi!) and my coffee or tea and settle in. It's truly like joining a beloved friend and catching up. Love love love your stories and that you share and shine light on Raynaud's!! Love the yarn you got -- that neon green is STUNNING!! Can't wait to see your creations. Love and prayers to you and Big Daddy and ear skritches and belly rubs to all the doggies!! ❤️❤️❤️
I am a widow for 12 years.i was.54 when my husband die.i had to move in with my son and his family. so I have enjoyed your company ☺. they are gone to work.its get.loney around here.i do enjoy sewing quilts .it helps and tv, phone for video.your talk is wonderful 😀. God Bless you.
The faith our children(of any age) have for us pushes us to grow in our abilities. He believed you could do it and you did . I have shared your story and videos with my husband. It has helped him understand that while scleroderma brings many limitations and changes but life still goes on . YESSS on finding someone to share the joys about yarn and crochet.
I have a friend who collected everything Elephants. I took our kids to the circus years ago. I got some elephant dung while I was there. I dried the elephant dung and then vaccumed silled it. Then gave it to him. He proudly put it on his shelves. Lol
you are so positive and so strong. It's great to hear that your kids and husband support you, otherwise you would probably fall into depression. I wish you all the best and that you don't hear any more bad news.
Hi Kayla, your not the only one that has trouble with words. I've had trouble sounding out words all my life. Thank you for your inspiration! You're so strong!
It is so wonderful you have a friend who also does crochet and enjoys yarn! Up until a couple of months ago, I knew no one who was into yarn and crochet. I stopped by my local yarn shop (which is about 15+ miles from my town). I hadn't been there since long before COVID closed everything down! While I was visiting that shop, the owner mentioned that the 1st Tuesday of every month a group of ladies gather together for a "Knit Night". Only problem is I DON'T KNIT!! But he noted that there are several crocheters, and the group would never shun someone just because they only crochet! This up coming Tuesday will be the 3rd time I will attend the "Knit Night"! I am very excited, and am so pleased after all these years to actually meet a lovely group of ladies who enjoy yarn and working with yarn as much as me!!
Hi. Kayla. I love to yarn shop also, both online and in store, when I can. Being disabled I don't get out much. So watching you is one of the ways that I get introduced to new yarns, and get to listen to your beautiful stories at the same time. 🙋♀️
Hi Kayla. Have you tried wrist warmers for your Raynauds? My doctor told me that even short periods of poor blood flow to your fingers can cause ulcers, which can lead to further complications. Just asking because your hand was white like mine has been and my doctor said to try and not allow that to happen. After 3 ulcers I've decided to listen about keeping my hands warm. They have helped me, no ulcers in about 1 year, maybe it'll help you as well. If you've tried them I apologize, I'm new to your channel. I know even in the house with the heat on my Raynauds can be a problem. I have so many pairs now because I keep them everywhere. I wear them until my hands get too warm and then put them on before they get too cold. Continued prayers for healing and health.☺❤
@@LlamaMamaKayla I've used various yarn and have crocheted them. I do find that the wool ones have been the best next to the ones made with bulky yarn. I even was gifted a wool pair lined with fleece that I love. I sometimes just keep them on my wrist and not over my thumb. Dr says whatever keeps the blood flowing to my hands. Even the sweatshirts with the thumb holes help. I've never tried sweatbands but it the summer in the supermarket they may look less like I don't know the seasons.😁
@@LlamaMamaKayla you can get electric type ones that comes in a glove (you might need to adapt them) they are good. You can or used to be able get electric heated wristbands from Amazon, but I don’t know if they still sell them. They heat up with a usb charger which obviously comes with them. They don’t work for me though. The gloves are sold separately and are £20 (great British pounds) each.
That makes sense as I have noticed wearing wrist warmers warms up my perpetually cold hands. There must be temperature sensors in the wrist that open up the blood vessels and thus warm up my hands. I knit and crochet my own and have them in every color.
Hi Kayla...I'm new to your videos and really enjoy watching them. I'm recovering from hip replacement surgery and your videos just make me smile. You are such an inspiration. Keep doing what you're doing becuz you bring lots of joy to so many including myself😊
I am in awe with you. It have to be God's absolute grace. You are definitely a tough cookie. I just t hope you can crochet again. I can't watch one of your videos without fighting my tears back, i can feel your passion for crochet. And inspite of the challenge you keep calm and carry on. Bless your heart.
I love the birdsong and cobblestone yarn. Very pretty. Lil Django bless his heart 💜 proud of you for figuring out how to drive, he has faith in you like we do he's so sweet worried about leaving you all alone. I love the hexagon cardigan. So good to see you.
Hi Miss Kayla. You look so much better. My prayers continue. I can't wait to see your projects! If you ever want to chat yarns, and projects, you know where I am! Much love to you.
So glad you have someone to talk "shop" with. I know the feeling. No one around me makes miniatures for dollhouses or makes cards or scrapbooks. I have to go on TH-cam to find like-minded hobbyists. Enjoy your friend. She sounds like a keeper, even the one without a crafty bone in her body. LOL You are so brave to drive a truck with your hand still healing in bandages. I would never venture that. But that's you - fierce and fearless. Get well. Can't wait to see your future masterpieces.
Hi Kayla, I enjoyed your yarn … I love the I Love This Yarn from Hobby Lobby. It’s affordable and works up well!! 😀 Those colors are perfect for Christmas! 🎄 You’re in such a great spirits!! Good to see smiling and laughing. Continued prayers, love and hugs!! 🙏❤️🥰
God was showing you how strong of a woman you are driving one week after surgery. Love all the pretty colors of yarn but just enjoy listening to your stories just as much. Blessed day to you all and continued prayers. 🦜
Hi Kayla, sorry I'm so way late today. I'm 63 and my PCA took my to see my sister and hour and half away. She is 16.5 years older than I am. He husband is 18.5 years older than I. Have seen them since around 2019. Was a wonderful visit. 💞🙏.
I am so glad you got to yarn shop! Thank you for wearing pink. It is great to have awareness out there especially since I have metastatic breast cancer!
So glad you are feeling better. You have such great stories. Love the one you told us about getting the truck to run with putting your arm thru to start it. 👍💚💙💜. You absolutely 💯 ❤️ a very fantastic person. You will be back crocheting in no time. 🎉🎉🎉🌝🌟🌟.Thanks for sharing your yarn and everything else Kayla 🙏 ❤️ 🙏🙏.Still sending prayers to you Big Daddy and everyone else in your family 👪 ❤️.
I'll be excited to see you start a new project. I'm curious to see how you will rig up a strap to help with the loss of your pinky finger. Love the yarns you purchased. How cute that your son figured you could drive home alone. I guess he was right since you did it! It's great to have a yarny friend to talk to. I'm sure you get along for reasons other than yarn, too! The pups are so cute. We were always suckers for a rescue. Our 14-year-old chihuahua is having some problems. He has been diagnosed with luxating patella (back left leg) and is now on a prescription along with an OTC supplement. Poor thing. He was crying every day, and I finally decided we needed to find out what was going on. He is no longer crying, so the meds are helping! Take care Kayla!
Hi Kayla, You continue to amaze me. Not only do you attempt and succeed at driving after not driving for a significant length of time, you do it 8 days after surgery. Not only that, but, do you do it with anyone else in the car? Nope and you make a stop on the way home to buy yarn! By the time you got home you must have been exhausted, I know I would have been. Btw, I watched the video on the Devine Hat and I am going to give that a try after i complete a couple of sewing/quilting projects. I haven’t crocheted in about 7 years so we will see how it turns out. Keep healing so well and your beautiful smile shining. Hugs to you, B. D. and the rest of the family 2 and 4 legged. ❤ Marion
Kayla think of your yarn unraveling, it's" Rave-r-ly"I think it's cute how you say it. Glad to see you are feeling a bit more up beat. Good for Issac, giving up a project to take you to new heights, our children have no idea at the small things we will do for them that we would never try doing for ourselves☺Love seeing your fur babies, I was watching an earliere video with Phebe in it which made it difficult to listen to what you were saying because she was stealing the show, oh what a sweet girl🐕she was giving you such sweet hugs, made me think of my lilLayla who past several years ago, so sweet♥🐕God bless, be safe and keep healing♥Love the yarn colors♥🧶
I love you .. so adorable to watch. Yes a great day to crochet I need to thank God that I can crochet this morning and I am. Pray doctors appointment goes well !! Enjoying you sharing your yarn and the excitement in your face and voice.
Hi Kayla, It is so good to see you today 🤗 I was missing you. I love the yarn you purchased and can't wait to see that elephant 🤗 I know what you mean about not being able to crochet. When I was in North Carolina I couldn't do any crocheting. As I still work full time and have a place to take care of, there never seems to be enough time to crochet 😁 I hope all goes well at the doctors 🙏🏻 Wishing you and Big Daddy a wonderful blessed day!🙏🏻🙏🏻🤗🤗💖💖💖💖💖💖
I do love spending time with you! I love those yarns from Hobbie Lobby, especially the Cobblestone, and the one with turquoise. You are so down to Earth, and authentic. I love you. I know it may seem odd to say, to a TH-cam host, but I have grown to care so much for you. It makes my day, to visit with you. I am even going back to some older videos. Your tutorial on tube socks, is so relaxing. Praying and sending much love to you and Bid Daddy! Girl, I can’t believe you drove that suv! What am I saying? Of course I believe it, you are unstoppable!
Hi Kayla 😊 I love the colors of the yarn!! I am a lover of turquoise myself😂 I have to say, I do admire your upbeat mood even after everything you’ve been through ❤ I am so very happy to hear that you have some straps to use to help you crochet 💕 You go girl!!
wow, loved all your yarns Kayla. I was very fortunate to win a giveaway and a skein of I Love This Yarn was included. wow. I loved how soft it was and still treasure it, not wanting to make anything with it until the perfect item comes to mind ha ha
LOLOL! Hi Kayla, I had to laugh, I made myself a cup of cinnamon spice tea before I sat down to check out what was on youtube. I found this video and began to enjoy your 'visit'. You started talking about your tea and I dont usually drink hot tea, but its chilly so I made mine. I hope you enjoy your tea as much as I am. Its wonderful to see you seemingly doing so well and cheerful! I hope your day stays cheery and happy!
You are such an incredible lady! So inspirational & talented! I just love watching your channel & everything you make or are going to make. Also...healing prayers & strength sent to you Kayla at this difficult time for you. And keeping Big Daddy in my prayers as well. 🙏❤
Hi Kayla, I love hearing you talk. Kayla you have such a great personality. I can't wait for you to start crocheting again. Kayla, you and Big Daddy are always in my prayers. Where is your co-host Phoebe? Give her a hug from me. Have a blessed day. See you soon.
I love the colors you got from hobby lobby ! I had to search for a good Shrek color to make for my son, the one that was in the terrible accident back in February, because he got the nick name Shrek as soon as he started working there, and they've never called him by his name since. So I found the color you just bought, and it was perfect (I think I showed them in my #33 video) I made him and his 2yr old both Shrek hats. He actually didn't get to wear it to work because he hasn't been able to go back to work, he might not be able to get back to work. Also, I just found out my niece was recently diagnosed with Raynauds. She showed me a picture of some of her fingers turned white. She's only 19 or 20, but she's still one of the kids to me, so my heart sunk. I've been watching what you've been going through, and I've prayed and prayed for you. I've cried with you ! I even wondered if you could take a donated finger, because I wanted to give you my pinky. I didn't know if that was possible.I don't think you seen that comment, it was quite a few videos back. Anyway, you and others here on TH-cam are my only friends, yarny or not. You really amaze me ! I will be here every day !!
Know what I went to the laundry mat to clean an extra large blanket and it was too big for my home machine. I chatted with the people there and enjoyed their company. So if lonely head to a laundry mat. Seriously 😀
Kayla, you are looking better today. I hope that you truly are doing well and your surgery is coming along nicely. Yes I am not surprised that you drove your Son's car. I like you did something like that after having shoulder surgery on my right dominant arm and with a numb leg on the right. Thank God both times I made it home safe and caused no harm to others. We are determined strong women who don't like to depend on others. Keep that new surgery hand safe and allow it to heal. 😘👩⚕️
So glad you're doing better. Love your smile.. You're blessed with your sons and your husband. The yarn is so beautiful ,Friday I'm going to Hobby lobby. I make dog clothes and crochet hats and coats for dogs and cats. Thanks for getting me inspired. I love fabric and yarn, but haven't shopped for yarn so seeing your haul made me thinking. Prayers for you. Be safe.
I could listen to you talk for hours, you have such a calming and positive energy about you. Like a feeling that everything with be just fine. I'm glad you're feeling abit better. New sub from England.🇬🇧💗🖤
I love those yarns! The speckled yarns are my favorite! I use a lot of variegated yarns. You look like you are feeling a lot better. I agree with you when you can't crochet, buy yarn!!
Thank you so beautiful 🤩 and your beautiful 😍 friend thank you 🙏 thank heaven thank you 🙏 love you 😍
I think you should get some “ fingerless” gloves to help with your white fingers. I do that a lot myself and it sure helps .( I’m not telling you what to do)🤦♀️🥰. He( your son), totally believed you could drive his vehicle home…..and you did !!❤🎉

Oh, Kayla, what we do for our children! God drove for you. He is good like that.
I hope the strap idea works. Your yarning community is excited to just get to see your sweet smile & enjoy your laughter

Thanks so much for visiting with us today and sharing your sunshine 😀
Still praying for you!!

😊❤😮❤😮
I am so glad you got to yarn shop! Thank you for wearing pink. It is great to have awareness out there especially since I have metastatic breast cancer!
So sorry for your cancer. I am a breast cancer survivor of. 11 years.
@@addelinebell6158 omgosh how awesome! Thank God for you! I have maybe 2 years
So glad you are feeling better.
I enjoy listening to you as much as what you are doing with crochet. Praying for your hand and all good health. God bless
Take care Kayla!
oh my goodness Django ♥ what a little sweetheart!!!!

Can’t wait to the elephant they are the gentle giant. ❤️
I really like Hobby Lobby yarns. You picked out some beautiful colors.
Hi Kayla,
You continue to amaze me.
Hi Kayla, lovely to see your smiling face again today 💜🇬🇧
Happy you can drive if you have to.Luv the speckled Hobby Lobby yarns

I love you .. so adorable to watch. Yes a great day to crochet I need to thank God that I can crochet this morning and I am.
Pray doctors appointment goes well !!
Enjoying you sharing your yarn and the excitement in your face and voice.
Hi Kayla, It is so good to see you today 🤗 I was missing you. I love the yarn you purchased and can't wait to see that elephant 🤗 I know what you mean about not being able to crochet. When I was in North Carolina I couldn't do any crocheting. As I still work full time and have a place to take care of, there never seems to be enough time to crochet 😁
I hope all goes well at the doctors 🙏🏻 Wishing you and Big Daddy a wonderful blessed day!🙏🏻🙏🏻🤗🤗💖💖💖💖💖💖
I do love spending time with you!
Thank you, Deloris.
Hi Kayla thank you for sharing with us and big hugs and prayers for Big Daddy and yourself
Good old Little Rock! Love and good vibes from Hot Springs!
wow, loved all your yarns Kayla. I was very fortunate to win a giveaway and a skein of I Love This Yarn was included. wow. I loved how soft it was and still treasure it, not wanting to make anything with it until the perfect item comes to mind ha ha
It is so great to see you and hearing your stories, such beautiful dogs. You have wonderful sons, it is so great to hear about them.

Nice yarn haul. Thank you for sharing.
You are doing so well with the loss of your pinkie. I know you will find a way to keep crocheting❣️
After watching a few videos I just want to love. You are the best nutty blessing
You are such an incredible lady! So inspirational & talented! I just love watching your channel & everything you make or are going to make. Also...healing prayers & strength sent to you Kayla at this difficult time for you. And keeping Big Daddy in my prayers as well. 🙏❤
Keep healing and smiling 💜💙
Hi Kayla, I love hearing you talk. Kayla you have such a great personality. I can't wait for you to start crocheting again. Kayla, you and Big Daddy are always in my prayers. Where is your co-host Phoebe? Give her a hug from me. Have a blessed day. See you soon.
Thank you so much, Barbara.
Bless your heart so good to see you again. Hope you have a wonderful day.
Oh what sweet fur babies
Great visit....love the Cobblestone, but all the colors are pretty!
