Enjoyed watching, even though the fish are small, the variety makes it all worthwhile. My next Amazon trips coming up in a few months I am taking some light tackle. We always concentrate on the big temensis but while entering the lagoons thru the narrow passes you see all kinds of cool looking patterns and colors on the smaller stuff. One piece of wood the guide pulled up a few trips back had nine different species of tropicals, mostly crazy looking catfish and plecos.
@@Fisherminnn South Florida, we have many native and introduced freshwater species (largemouth bass, sunfish, various catfish) (bullseye snakeheads, peacocks, pacu, Amazon catfish, tilapia and other cichlids). Saltwater inshore tarpon, snook, jacks, barracuda, snappers, grouper etc., and the many offshore reef fish and pelagics... oh, and of course sharks, too many🙂
@@Fisherminnn Lots of spots are pressured but there is so much water you can always find fish. For example, I just left my son's house and stopped at a spot on the way back, about ten minutes from my house and threw a few casts for about twenty minutes, a 3 pound, a 2 1/2 pound and a 1 pound peacock on a Nakamura Ishi 85 darting lure. Nothing epic but there is always a bite to be had. I have seen some videos of beautiful clear water jungle in/near Singapore with nice big temensis, we don't have that.
I totally agree man, there are days where i fish alone, its totally different with fun company haha. It isn't easy fishing here in Singapore! Thanks for watching
This is the same spot at the Marina Breakwater, one Sunday morning, I got chased off by 2 officers from Marina Bay, on a Golf cart claiming that it's NO FISHING.. Just be careful here that the rocks down the slope at low tide is really slippery and there is a stretch of man-made barrier beneath the water level stretching out from the end of the breakwater parallel to the coast.
Wah you were chased off? Didn't know can't fish here, always knew that can fish since before. Ya it's really slippery, need to practise caution. Thank you for watching man! The man made barrier has fish?
