Will you be forking out for the Buchla’s? I met Don a few times. I found Buchlas easy to play. But fitting synths into music becomes more difficult because as Suzanne intimates there’s a whole different way of looking at electronic music. It’s more cerebral and there’s not a lot of people who listen to noisy types of music. Most people these days listen to four on the floor beats. Suzanne had invested $40k decades ago and there’s not very many people who can afford it. Have fun making music!

@ It’s only a summer. Don was climbing a step ladder in 2012 on his birthday. I thought that’s like my dad doing it so I helped him setup. That’s was the last I saw him. Acquaintances were into all the PS-3300 Korgs and expensive stuff. We bought the board in the avatar photo ☝🏼 and i own too much gear. No space left for it. I play guitar, bass, slide, keys and everything else so cramming myself into one setup is great for limitations of uncertainty. But I like new choices next week. There’s always new so I have to pare down first! Barely get to know Moog One and I want the H9000 🤷🏻. Don’t be old just try to keep into moderation in your mind. The oldest man recently passed at 112 and his advice was Moderation in all things. I like travel too so - it’s time! Tempus Fugit! 🙏

Has anyone mentioned Bebe Barron (Forbidden Planet) yet?

Ciani is definitely the not the first woman to score an Hollywood film, there were several uncredited female composers working before Bebe Barron (alongside husband Louis) did the (credited) music to the Forbidden Planet, back in 1956!. What you mean is probably "the first woman to earn a solo score credit on an Hollywood film" .
