They said it had low ratings, and that's probably because it was a more realistic/down to earth look at the ballet/dance world than the overly gritty/overly dramatic dance shows and movies that were cropping up around that time(ie. Breaking Pointe, Black Swan, and Dance Moms).
of the many lessons that could be learned from this show, first is you have to compete for each part either actor, dancer, or any other positions anyone is trying for...rejection is part of life and we all have to take a chance at goals.

I LOVE Gilmore Girls. And found out that this show had some stars go from that show to this one. Wish I had known that. I have heard of this show but thought it was just about people dancing and what goes on behind the scenes (like a reality show) so I never watched it. I used to be in dance classes so I know what goes on in the green room and things backstage. Now I regret never watching this. Love Sutton too. She's awesome!!! Anyone know where I can go to watch this show from S1 E1 to the finale Episode?

I watched the first episode with great interest, then realized that each new episode was dumber than the previous, gave up after 3-4 episodes, and wasn’t surprised when the show went off the air. many actors/actresses from “Gilmore Girls” must’ve still had contracts that needed to be fulfilled. It wasn’t “Amy’s” show anymore, it was “inspired by” Gilmore girls. Amy stopped her involved with the show the year before Gilmore girls went off the air.

This obviously has a core fan base. There were more back then but why were y’all not watching this religiously?! This show was so perfect and so were the actors too. Frankly I felt the humor was funnier than Gilmore Girls. Foster and Bishop are an amazing comedy duo. Five minutes listening to them and I thought this would last but no. 😢
I *really* enjoyed this show and hated that it was cancelled, BUT I hate that ASP got another greenlight and made another white ass show. At least there was Lane, Mrs. Kim, Ms. Patty & Michel in the Gilmore Girls, but this show was floury.
It's also something else, unfortunately AMS has a tendency to open a lot of stories, she does not follow them and sometimes they just are left there, in the air, without any resolutions, characters appear and just leave, that happened a lot on Gilmore Girls but the good chemistry among the Graham and Bledel plus the rest of cast helped to conceal that mistake, unfortunately in the 4 episodes Netflix produced one could finally tell, years passed and that... whatever that was actually was not good.
