- In this video , I had tried to give the procedure of finding out the standard deviation of given cube compressive strength.Standard deviation is the measure of dispersion of a set of data from its mean. It measures the absolute variability of a distribution; the higher the dispersion or variability, the greater is the standard deviation and greater will be the magnitude of the deviation of the value from their mean.

sir thank you for uploading videos. sir what if we are testing for only 3 cubes of same component ie .coloum or beam then what in "N" in this case
N means number of sample, does not matter whether it is column or beam.

Sir mujhe strength ko laker bht fight krna pdta h... Mara jo problm h sir ...mara jo daily basis ka cube ka strength ata h usko lker.. Client bolta h ki standard deviation add krne ka bad.. Jo strength ayga.. Utna hi strength hona chahey.. But daily basis ka jo cube strength hota h book characteristics strength suppose M-30 grade h to uska 28 days ka strength 28 hona chahiye but... Clients usko fail bolta h... Plz advice sir ji

Sir according to IS 10262 -2019, higher value is used between assumed Standard deviation and value of x. But here you only use value of standard deviation. Plz explain sir and also explain acceptance criteria of concrete... Can we use acceptance criteria , that formula given in sec 903.1 or sec 1700-5 cl 1. Plz

Target Strength is used for designing concrete mix whereas characteristic strength is used for day to day work.
