I have seen him live in Lyon (Woodkid's hometown if I am not mistaken) 2 years ago. An 'experience' is the right word to describe it I believe. The music, the atmosphere, the lights, the excellent musicians combined with the scenic presence of Mr. Lemoine just merge to create something that is truly unique and incredibly powerful!
Its rare for any concert to be like that, from what I've heard from you and others every Woodkid concert is striking in how it makes you feel. They have a resonanace that people feel and don't forget. I'm very jealous of those who see him live.
Violet Moon you owe it to yourself to see him live. Seen him live three times and each time I was speechless and in tears because of how beautiful everything Yoann does is.
I'd have to travel out from where I am to whichever country he is at, don't think he's been live in the UK which is a shame. When I have the money I'll definitely be going specially to see his concerts.
Same goes for Zurich three years ago. One of the best concerts I've ever been to. Never had such an atmosphere at a concert ever again.

This song is a time capsule, especially when talking about gaming culture (yes I'm a filthy casual who only knows Woodkid because of Assassin's Creed). The Game Grumps were a small channel while Tobuscus was a runaway juggernaut, Assassin's Creed was fresh and not a glitchy, rushed mess and E3 was an important show. None of these are true anymore.

The original version (with the drums) is the protagonist all geared up to go on their mission, this is the reprise after the battle and they’ve seemingly lost everything and they quietly recall their earlier war cry - but there’s also some hope in those notes
