In Part 3, Question 2, a total of 30 million people voted. However, 52% of them voted in favor of leaving (departure from the membership). Therefore, the accurate choice is Paragraph C.
At 37:00 And this is why CELPIP is such a poorly designed test it's astounding anyone should or would ever use it to measure anything. When your answers depend completely on subjective reasoning (which can and most likely *is* different from person to person), then the test becomes non-measurable. Its results cannot be reproduced and legitimate answers that fit perfectly in the narrative get rejected because the author of the test said so. So it really doesn't matter how good you're at English, what matters is whether you have a crystal ball to help you read the author's mind.
Yeah i got 5 in reading meanwhile got L 8 W 9 and S 9 ..this test is a joke when it comes to reading. Even though reading is a basic skill we all learn from kindergarten to the day we sitting reading the questions n paragraphs in exam 🤣🤣 i tried 2 times got 5 in reading both the times.
Found some issues, some people might find these helpful: Part 1, Q10: The correct answer: 'The vitality of the church' provided does not make sense within the context of the sentence in the question. E.g. '...we will definitely try to explain 'the vitality of church' of understanding theological bases of his faith which can be beneficial in his future.' Semantically, that does not make sense. The phrase 'the importance' should be the correct answer. Part 2, Q6: How are we meant to approximate their level of friendship when that is so subjective? There must be enough implicit information within the letter to provide more guidance. Otherwise, everyone is just guessing based on our own subjective understanding of the degrees of friendship. While your explanation of how the word 'best' was never used does lend some understanding on why you think 'best friends' is not the best answer, 'close friends' is also not automatically the best answer. Also, just as a personal note: at the end of the letter is the phrase 'money is just an object'. Personally, I thought this was confusing as the popular expression is actually 'money is NO object'; but I guess that just encourages the reader to take a closer attention to the words used. Part 3: Was I the only one that was confused with how this question: The previous prime minister was left unsettled. Answer: ______ Corresponds to this answer? Correct: C - Those opposed to Brexit were in the “Remain” camp. This included Britain’s prime minister, David Cameron. This was personally confusing to me. Also, for the last question in Part 3, the statement 'Farage said he had achieved his goal of helping the UK become a “self-governing” nation.' is found in paragraph C, not B. The answer key is incorrect.
In part 2, question 1 I believe closeness refers to distance i.e. distance from stage which is decreasing and not increasing that'y why I marked that as my answer ('safety' was also a valid option for me I didn't eliminate it). When I saw your explaination, I understand why you are saying 'safety' as answer. Can you correct me where I went wrong?
To me that’s part of the trap. When you increase closeness you are actually getting closer, or , “more” close, not less close, so you are increasing the parameter of closeness, it’s not directly referred to increasing the distance. This is there to confuse us for sure.
It would be nice if you could do the reading and other parts , completely unbiased with exam format . Please do the replica tests so that viewers can see the real time tactics.
In part 2, the question is if you don’t prioritize TV then best option would be basic according to me because in golden there are 100 percent chances for being in TV than how the answer is golden.. please explain 🙏
@@AfuwapeOlabisi None. It's from the overall tone. There is no indication of "best". Hence, the next best estimate based on the tone of speech will lead to "close friends".
@@hzadeducation-coachingcent986 I guess the part "If you are not afraid to pay more and try your luck" and "if you don't prioritise being on ...TV" suggest that they are not best friends. I may be wrong though.
