I am also a Kathak dancer and choreographer but this is the first time I have seen such a good choreography. It is not only simple but also captures the essence of the music and the very feeling of it. It's simply beautifully put. It shows hoe Kathak can be so simply but feel complete with all the essence. Reminds me of when and why I started dancing Kathak.

@@NooriBak What words can not express, music and dance does. I learnt this after I had to stop dancing due my accident (broken ankle). Whenever I danced, I felt things were better expressed and felt. Emotions are so complicated things, to be able to put it in simple words is indeed a very beautiful talent, which you have and shown right. And I sincerely wish and hope dear that you're harsh times are gone and future only holds an amazing time ahead :)

That time i was in kind of a turning point in my life. Separation, Grief of loss, dim future, but also acceptance and hope. i felt no regret for what i had decided. I wouldnt like to just let this dynamical feelings faded away without any artistic result. Anyhow i am a dancer. These kind of feelings of a lifetime is quite valuable material for creating art.
The song 'o re piya' seemed to represent my heart. That time I was traveling in Turkey and had no enough time and space for choreographing. So more than half of it was improvised in flow of emotions from my real experiences. Probably there were some lack of technic. if this dance touched your heart, it would mean alot for me. Yours is the first one that left me in awe, watching transfixed till the end. You truly let the music speak to you and captured the essence of the song. lacking in expressions and emotion but good choreography
Being a kathak dancer too I understand complicated steps always don't make a dance beautiful it is always the beauty of letting the music speak through you and she has done it the best ! It was a very calm and soothing performance loved it!

Usually it's the try-hards that make this beautiful song really bad even with a beautiful and amazing choreography. This was smooth af. I have done Bharatnatyam so I have less knowledge about Kathak, but I have always appreciated a good, smooth, flowing performance. And this is just what I aspire to be as a dancer...
We used to do Kathak at my school and i absolutely hated i. I dont know why, but me and my friends did, probably just us trying to fit in with the others who found it 'uncool'. But this makes me want to do Kathak again. The performance was mesmerizing Noori. Stay Strong!! I t makes me so happy that our beautiful culture is being represented in South Korea too since people here love South Korea and K-Pop etc. You are an amazing dancer and yes! this dance touched my heart! every part of it!
