That's a good question, we also thought that this would be something that would help to explain the results; We tested all of the fluids included in this presentation for very high shear viscosity (up to 10,000 s-1 in most cases, some even further) and they were all still Newtonian. We have since tested further additional fluids and found some that do show shear thinning and elasticity at very high shear. These fluids were then unreliable or did not jet properly, so it's definitely something that needs to be considered! I hope that answers your question?
