    As a model railroader, I can say you are spot on! Also as a former home repair person, I can tell of many times I would be hanging pictures for a customer. They would come in the room and say, "Are those pictures 'level'?" And i always responded, "Do they "look" level?" It was never about "level" it was about making sure all straight edges, i.e. picture frames and door or window frames were aligned. That, would make it "look" level. And that was really, even if they didn't know it, what they wanted in the first place. ...Claude

    The selective compression makes so much sense. Thanks for explaining it so well. By doing so with scenery one can make 1/2 mile of scale track look so much longer.

    Really interesting video, thank you for posting. Doorways and ceiling heights have to be correct, but only on the first storey (see Disneyland).

    As former US Army Ranger I have your answer to "Tree Top" level. At 200 feet AGL or "Tree Top" level, lower your equipment! (Above Ground Level)
