Interesting, I didn't know which CB this evolved from. Yeah, there's a simple pull-up resistor mod to get expanded range. The software is probably another version for your radio because of the channels used on 11M.
@@bwave57 another version of this radio was called the "Uniden 2830",when these radios are modded they go from 26 to 30mhz. My Lincoln is the 3rd one I've owned over the years and this one is a keeper. There also where high power versions of these radios, they had double the transmit power also these was an add-on board that extends the range from 24 to 30mhz.
A good comprehensive demo of this fine radio that's excelent for Technicians, especially during this part of the solar cycle.

This is another version of the President Lincoln mark 1 that i own. The cpu inside this radio was unmodifiable for 27mhz!!.
