Thanks for this video and excellent advice. A couple random points. The lunch looked great and looks like a healthy place to eat, kind of unexpected for an "aldea pequeña". Also noticed the bikes weren't locked up, cannot do that where I live- even with my 30 year old mountain bike.
San Pancho has become a go to for Souther Californians ,bored with Cabo commercialism. Also being open ocean ,as opposed to protected bay,it is attractive to surfers.
I was recently in chacala and couldn’t believe how beautiful it is, can’t wait to make my way down la costa alegre 🤗 san pancho is definitely next on my list!
I love it when someone else gets it... San Pancho is such a special place! ❤️ I spend two weeks in SP every year... can’t wait for my next trip in 6 weeks! We will take a day trip or two to Sayulita, but I always look forward to getting back to the chill vibe in SP. It’s my happy place 😃☀️👙🍹
Hey guys! Did you know that Puerto Vallarta has the only direct flight (besides Cancun) between Finland and Mexico? Also, until a few months ago, it had a seasonal flight between London and Puerto Vallarta, that's really cool :D
This is a nice place to relax while in Nayarit. If your still there, try a cup of hot chocolate @ mexicolate. It's right across the street from the town community center. Your welcome
Wow...my kind of place. Beautiful, relaxed. Truly sophisticated...meaning without being pretentious and pricey, knowing what appreciation for the beauty of life consists of.
Visit San Sebastian del Oeste. It's about an hour away from there and totally worth the trip. It's a trip back in time. Mexican film icon Pedro Infante, used to film a lot of his movies there.
San Pancho is an amazing little laid back town. So many great little restaurants, coffee shops and an ice cream place!! I'm looking forward to exploring it again this January
Nice videos guys about my country; nice coments...in english is perfect becuse another persons around of the world can hear your experiences as well as your feedback about my beautiful country. Enjoy and have a great days visiting La Riviera Nayarit. Please Visit Sonora as well; the beaches are awesome!
I'm so excited to have found your channel. I m looking for a place to start living in Mexico. PV has been the most likely start From Texas to Texans hope to meet. Bless you and your feet! The heat is intense in both Austin and PV the difference is so much : the colors , the kindness, amd my favorite Ki Key cat.❤✌
Pretty accurate statement that San Pancho is like what Sayulita use to be as far as the number of people and business activity. My wife and I live in Sayulita. It’s great for business, but has lost much of its tranquillity. San Pancho has changed as well. It’s not as sleepy as it use to be. Huge difference in activity between high and low season.
I stayed there forc3 days about 5 yrs ago. There were really great restaurants and lots of good music. The beach is beautiful. There was a music festival too. I want to live there.
today im going to san pancho im also live here in vallarta so thank you to your video i decide to go finally! i love your videos and thank you to show to the world our beatiful vallarta! (and sorry for my bad english lol)
Just met this couple randomly here in Sayulita. What a nice couple! They are very informative. Good luck with your channel. Hope you two come visit Marias restaurant in San Pancho. Salud!
San Pancho is sweet. That was one of the towns we visited in Nayarit. Would be fun to see a video on what happens at Las Juntas when they're having one of their famous fiestas. Can't wait to be back. Was great meeting you guys!! I already miss the raspados at the plaza.
@Jose Rendon I will be back aswell. Hopefully soon this Covid nightmare ends. My girlfriend lives there. We went everyday almost out to San Blas. I believe our base will be in Tepic but I want to buy a sailboat and have it out in the water maybe closer to Guaybiddos. God bless Mexico!!!!! Love from Canada!!!!
WOW, you have opened my eyes to a new place for us to explore. We have driven by San Pancho on the highway but never went into the town. After watching this video, I think we will venture up there for a visit this winter. I like the laid back vibe and the relaxed atmosphere your video portrayed. Thanks again for a very informative and entertaining video.
You have to visto all the beaches in the state of Nayarit , you will love them ! Then you can visit the center is Nayarit like Tepic the capital , and Samao and jala
I feel safer in Nayarit than I do as a citizen of Canada. I don’t care what anyone says about it either!!!! God bless Mexico and it’s people!!!! All of them!!!!
Guys go to zacoalco de Torres my father is actually from there and make a video on how they make the equiples. It's the rustic furniture you see all over jalisco. Go to the barrio de la cebollas. That's where you see a bunch of indigenous people making that type of furniture. Also make a drive out to conception de buenos aires it's near mazamitla.
I own a beach home in the wonderful fishing/service town of LA Penita de Jaltemba. It's about a 20 minute drive north from San Pancho. Come one come all. The area is vast expanding, especially with Costa Canuva's billion dollar hotel and golf facilities opening around us in 2020-2023.
I’m definitely going to stop by at San Pancho, it seems to be a lovely place 😍 already booked my trip to Sayulita for May 2022. 🌷 Thank you so much for sharing this beautiful video 🤩
San Pancho is COOL, from what I see here it is very much like Rincón de Guayabitos, about an hour or hour and a half from PV, seeing Güera and you walk Goyo, you were SWEATING CRAZY and Güerita put her hair up in a bun, yeah tierra caliente is the coast! :)
you guys should go to Chacala and take a boat to the hidden cove and ask for Juan. When you get there ask the Boaters where he is and they will take you
This is a good video but as you said you need to spend more time there. For tourists, restaurants, shops, activities and adventures what you showed are probably enough. But the town has a strong community culture where the expats and locals work together. Entreamigos (cultural and educational center for children) and Cirque de Los Ninos (children's circus school) are the two best examples. There also is a school for young filmmakers. When you walk North on the beach from the town you will get to an area called Costa Azul that has some very lavish homes from the beach up into the hills. There are rock outcroppings at this end of the beach that are fun to climb. Continuing down the road Las Palmas it becomes Las Clavelinas through the jungle with homes and compounds hidden away. You can access deserted beaches if you know where to look.
Alan Goldstein After reading your reply, I believe you’d serve as a much better informed vlogger. There are tourists & there are travelers. IMO, kinnons are the former. Appreciate your time and info.
To be fair to the Kennons, I live in San Pancho part time and have plans to retire there. Some of the things that make a town a good place to live in are not going to be on the radar or important to people who just want a brief vacation. E.g. turtle rescue program that attracts worldwide volunteers. You can research more deeply about the town if you are looking for a longer stay in this special place.
It's becoming popular with aussies as well as with brits since they do not have the mental biases that others may have and word keeps getting passed around amongst themselves, peace and happy weekend....💯✌️✌️✌️✌️
I thought you guys lived in Vallarta for one year so assumed you were also there during high season? I would like to know just how crowded it is from December thru March, as we will be there this winter.
I like this place. You've had several videos of small publas with not much going on, but this has the vibe of a laid back surf town. I've lived in Hawaii, Philippines, Thailand .. all near the ocean and this place seems like a good fit for me. Thanks. Curtis, moving to CDMX in 2 weeks.
I slow travel, and I’m currently in Vallarta right now. I keep seeing the Nyait bus stop near my AirBnB and asked how far of a bus ride, they stated about an hour and a half. The cost was very low, I think it was like 50 pesos on this very nice bus.
Things to do - hike to Sayulita through the jungle, enjoy the quiet beach on the way. Volunteer at Entre Amigos community center. Visit the market in the square on Tuesdays. Go to the gym, do yoga/pilates.
More advice: Don't go to Los Muertos beach - water not so clean and broken glass some places - better to drive 5-10 minutes South to Punta Negra and Palmares Beach for clean waters and nicer beaches. You might go South to San Partricia or Barra Natal area for a less developed experience, but open to hurricanes more than PV.
Have you just discovered my go-to place in Mexico? We have been coming here for several years now. But I thought you checked it out once before but were less impressed that time.
I hope that you visit Isla Holbox sometime. I have been there and found it to be a gem of a town. NOT commercial as yet and zero cars, but there are flamingos.
Feliz Friday amigos 😃
Feliz viernes kinetics 😊
Same to you guys!!!
Happy viernes Kennons 🏝🍺
Feliz Friday to you to. 👍
Great videos looks like you guys getting used to live without ac for a longer periods of time during the day lol
Ok ok don't forget Sayulita...we just highly encourage you to check out San Pancho if you're near Puerto Vallarta or Sayulita 😃
Maybe try Zipolite while you are down that way?
That is a lonnnnnng ways away isn't it? Either way- we want to go!!! haha
Thanks for this video and excellent advice. A couple random points. The lunch looked great and looks like a healthy place to eat, kind of unexpected for an "aldea pequeña". Also noticed the bikes weren't locked up, cannot do that where I live- even with my 30 year old mountain bike.
Kinetic Kennons Don’t forget your birthday suit. 😱
This town called San Francisco right?
Beautiful layback beach town Kennons 🏝. Thanks guys for exploring and showing beautiful places like this throughout Mexico.
The riviera Nayarit has some really cool beaches and towns. I suggest you do a week or 2 just moving north from one town to the next.
Hola! Welcome to San Pancho. We are glad you guys liked our town. Thanks for the video.
You have a beautiful name 😍
San Pancho has become a go to for Souther Californians ,bored with Cabo commercialism. Also being open ocean ,as opposed to protected bay,it is attractive to surfers.
