Beautiful. Right past the observatory is "madera canyon trail". Great little spot to check out and the drive up around the observatory is stunning
I went on a hike on the Madera Canyon trail earlier this week. It is a very nice trail. Beautiful area!!!!😊

It's a gorgeous view! Not sure anyone ever thinks of mountains when they think of Texas, but it really does have some nice peaks in certain areas.
