Ms. Wendy Hyer and Mr. Piet Langstraat, both renowned for their significant contributions and expertise in the field of education, gave us an insight into their findings and experience over the 3-day BC Inspection at the Canadian School Bahrain. Throughout their inspection they focused on key areas such as curriculum delivery, teacher planning, and classroom instruction, emphasizing critical thinking skills and technology integration. Their expertise and thorough evaluation methodologies underscored CSB’s commitment to blending the B.C. curriculum with local Bahraini culture and educational elements. Both Inspectors highlighted the fact that the school would be a distinguished addition to any district in British Columbia.

The Canadian School Bahrain (CSB) opened its doors in 2019, the Canadian School Bahrain is certified by the British Columbia Ministry of Education and is the first certified BC offshore school in the Kingdom of Bahrain. CSB is located in Diyar al Muharraq, offering a 21st-century curriculum with high academic standards. The school offers a unique education program teaching the British Columbia, Canada curriculum integrated with Bahraini Social Studies, Islamic Studies, and Arabic Language.
Preschool ages: 3-6 years
Elementary School ages: 6-10 years
Middle School ages: 11-14 years
High School ages: 14-17 years
The school currently offers Nursery to Grade 10 and we will be opening Grade 11 & 12 in the upcoming academic year and the school caters to four different range of age groups.
