This is paramount I feel like, saved me a few times in my daily from aggressive bird bombarding my car like it was Poland in 39' 🥲 Cheers Mr. Brian, great episode!
All right! Finally, a video showing the damage bug guts. This is one i can show people. Thank you soooo much! 1 nightmare i have to share. A 2022 Honda Passport front end has black piano trim above and partly around the grill. Its about the cheapest thing they could have slapped on the car. Yes, bug guts were embedded into the finish of the paint. The finish is so soft the bug etching would not come out. Permanently damaged. Not sure how long the bug guts were on there. I went to a Urofiber 50/50 with 3d one and went no further. Thanks for this educational video, Brian. This one will really help!
That’s why as soon as I see this on my vehicle I pull out the rinse less wash or whatever I have to clean it off asap.Great video Brian and excellent video to add to the how to video library 👑✊💎
Yeah, that would drive me nuts looking at those, especially on that raised front end. I usually carry some Diy waterless wash with me in the summer. Great demo on this Brian!! ✅️ 🇨🇦
I guess having OCD in a detailing setting is a positive, great everyday/man video. Yeah you answered your own question re the eurofiber I kinda new the answer then you said it does apprx 70% of the work in your shop......carry on Bri
I can’t tell you how many times I would stop at a coin ops on the way home because of bird poop or bug splatter. Takes just a few seconds and only cost a buck or two whatever the minimum is. One time I was golfing and didn’t realize I parked under power lines, my car was absolutely slathered with bird poop, so on the way home I drop by one of the coin car washes and I always use their spot free rinse (deionized water) and it comes right off with hardly any damage depending on the time of year if you catch it the same day.
Another great video thank you, I wonder if you could advise me I’m thinking about doing a one step on my Volvo v40 using rupes yellow foam pads and Gyeon primer then using Gyeon one ceramic coating I don’t have much scratching on the paintwork just very light thank you in advance Brian this is my favourite channel for car detailing
Great vid as always Brian! Just wondering, are you still keeping your detailing business open and accepting customers? I wasn't 100% sure if you closed the shop and started the car flipping business. Thanks for another great teaching video!
@ Excellent! Great to hear you passed it down to him. Now I get how you have transitioned to the auction car recon flip life. Thanks for sharing and keep up the great work.
Brian do you start out with a damp clean pad each time or are they dry in this video? Thanks for making the video. So many of my customers do not know how bug guts can be on their paint.
Have ever dealt w/bug guts from the deep FL/Miami region? I sear to God, they must have been blown up from the islands. Battery acid guts! I wet sanded & used the old Dupont 606s compound (aka river sand) w/a wool pad to grind them off.
Carrying a little bottle of Rinseless wash in your vehicle will help remove fresh splatter easily.

Are you using tigergrip gloves?

😮 The bug guts were probably on there for quite some time.
Nothing but the best from the most experienced guy out there. Good luck and have a great day.
Thanks! You too!

Especially if protected in any way.
The worst is if your at the beach or park and people feed the seagulls and they leave
Always Caring and Sharing!! Thanks Brian!!
Awesomeness as always 👌 🙌
Awesome video , you’re really pumping them out 💪
One a day...except Mondays. :)
Great job .my first time seeing that done.
Great informative video as always. Thanks for sharing…
Love the uro fiber 50/50
Thank you!!! Been waiting for my Infinti just for these exact videos! Camt wait to see more!
I have more Infiniti videos coming!
Thank's Brian. This video is very helpful. Have a good weekend and get that shovel ready for the approaching winter storm.
I am ready for spring and summer.
Excellent results. I'm sure the shop manager agrees.
Hope so!
Great info Brian!! Thanks!!! Have a great weekend!!
You too! Thanks!
I wish there were coin op washes in my area but sadly they seem to be non existent here, so a rinseless wash will have to do
Rinseless is perfectly fine.

Yes. The fine or ultra fine pads should do you well with that team.

My son took over the shop. They are very busy. I get to do my word at the end of the day when they leave and also weekends. :)

They start out slightly damp...as I clean them before use.
Would the second try with the all in one type of polish be equivalent to 3D One and Urofiber 50/50 pad?
Similar.
So what would you do on matte paint
You can only treat them chemically.
How can you tell what type of clear coat is on your cars paint
The sure way is doing a minimum of 3 test spots.
What I’ve used for etching from bird poop is a heat gun. I did it on roof of my wife’s Lexus stain went away hasn’t came back yet
Very interesting idea 💡 I never knew about this before but I will keep it in mind 👑✊💎
Heat swells the paint. Interesting that is hasnt come back after cooling. Thanks for sharing. :)
Brian, what's your doggie's name?
Sissy. She is such a good girl. 😊

😮
Could also probably wet sand with 3000 grit. Then polish out.
Absolutely another option.
I thought you were going to show something worse that you had to sand.
I thought maybe ya all needed a break from wet sanding. :)
