Thank you for your service. Now for the chief why would anyone leave their bunker coat in the vehicle. Makes no since to me 25 years in the fire service. Illinois. Poor example of leadership to the newbies.
@@treycamardelle looks like you grabbed your entire gear..... looks like you should be Chief especially with how you responded greatly and cleared traffic. Very professional
@@treycamardelle your state is A true American state lol. That’s awesome brother. New York State hasn’t reached that level yet. Stay safe and thanks for feed back
@@darylprescott8130 Not sure if NY will reach that level. I hope they do but I’ve also heard other states are wanting to get rid of sirens for POV’s and adopt the “courtesy light” aswell…
@@nicholasyoung3762 well then there better automatic response for many other depts because unfortunately many commuters do not recognize or respect the courtesy light. I know we have some volunteers that get siren syndrome and drive like idiots but also for the few that drives with due regard, that’s sad news that other states want to do that
@@darylprescott8130 Yea it’s ridiculous. With the courtesy light in our state of NY we have to follow every traffic law and speed limit. Despite what your political beliefs may be. Most states with courtesy lights (blue/green) or states that don’t allow Any lights on pov’s at all is usually a blue state.
"Love ya" I always made sure I could say that...
That’s the most important thing to do, you never know what’s going to happen
Goddamn what lol be safe and careful out there from one former firefighter 2 another have a good day and stay safe my brother

👏👏👏 that’s what I’ve been saying too! We have captains and a few chiefs that’ll still come in with us but the rest just stand on the sidewalk
