Satori Mountain Cliffside | Over Rutile Lake | Zelda: Breath of the Wild

  • Spend a slow day in nature on the forested cliffside of Satori Mountain. From here we look out to the northwest of Hyrule, Rutile Lake below us and Hyrule Ridge beyond. Those snowy peaks to our left are the icy plateaus of the Gerudo Highlands. Take a breath, listen to the birdsong, and relax.
This location was kind of suggested by Aquari-- I say "kind of" because they mentioned a flowery cliff with summerwing butterflies and I saw no butterflies here, so I believe this is not the spot Aquari was thinking of. My search continues.

I'm a mental health counselor and I listened to this today after what has been one of the saddest days in my career that I can really remember. I've been in practice for over 7 years now. There has been so much pain and sadness that I've carried today and this music has been so wonderfully soothing today. It might seem silly, just music from a video game, but it takes my mind outside to the mountains. Thanks for putting this together. It helped in a way I didn't think you anticipated and reached to people beyond me today. You helped a lot of people today.

Hope you are better now. Some video games are art pieces in different ways, some don't. There should be nothing weird hearing the sound track of some of them as you have realized; theirs may be even better than the sound tracks of some movies or well known albums.
Also, anytime you feel down, reach out for the people on the comments of sounds tracks like this; the community hearing this videos are different than from other videos.

Media will always be this enigmatic work of art that doesn't seem high class enough to be put in a museum. But with how many emotions these considerate pieces can be imbued with, I think it's safe to say that music, books, movies, and especially video games are as valuable as ever with more ways to soak these projects with passion and their legacies growing bigger by the year.
It's never silly to be healed by a work of art. Most of us listening do the same thing.
And thanks for being a counselor for those in need. Even if this comment's a year old, hope my message still finds you well.

This has been one of my favorites so far! Those unique bird calls that only happen on Satori Mountain are great! If you're still doing requests, it would be nice to see something from the Lanayru Wetlands just north of Kakariko, that swampy area that has the bridge walkways between little islands! Thanks for all your hard work!

Hey! Just wanted to quickly say that your sceneries are incredible! I'm a huge fan of natural composition and art in games as well as botw and so I really appreciate your efforts in uploading these soothing 'gamescapes' for us! It's a one of a kind of a beautiful format and I'm glad to see you have a whole channel dedicated to it like no one has. Just subbed last week and its been amazing leaving these in the background, and I can't wait to see more of the unique sceneries you have to offer :)

If you like, like, I'd be more than happy to email/send you an image of the exact spot on the map I was talking about with all the flowers and butterflies. @@karuuuu1 I have no idea why I typed this here, but I know what it is referencing, not something in Zelda games. I guess she must have streamed this game..
She incidentally is becoming quite a snippy unreasonable bitchy person now, so not such a queen. :/
Unless there is a Jinny in this game at all?? If so, I must have commented this reference to a different Jinny specifically because of that, but I think the streamer must have just played this or done something using these background sounds on stream.
I'm more confused as to what it would be about given my comment was ONLY 8 months ago, because that specific reference I'm making there is from 2019 or so.
      Sorry for the confusion. xD
