Chinese Coast Guard Ship Nearly Collides with Philippines Patrol Ship in South China Sea | VOA News

- A Chinese coast guard ship came as close as one meter (3 feet) from colliding with a Philippine patrol ship it was trying to block in the South China Sea in a near-collision that stoked fears the repeated territorial face-offs could spark a larger geopolitical crisis.
The Philippines strongly condemned Friday China's dangerous maneuvers near the Second Thomas Shoal, which its Asian neighbors both claim and has been the scene of frequent face-offs.
One other Philippine coast guard vessel was blocked and surrounded by Chinese coast guard and militia ships in the hostilities that dragged for more than four hours Wednesday.
Two smaller boats the Philippine coast guard was escorting in the contested waters managed to breach the Chinese blockade and delivered food and other supplies to a Filipino marine territorial outpost at the shoal, which the two neighboring Asian countries claim. (AP)

This is crazy man. And China wonders why it doesn’t have friends but just strategic partners. If all the countries in the region could get what they needed equally elsewhere they would without a doubt. But right now they can’t. And as long as they continue to take debt trap loans they will never be self reliant and they don’t see that. It’s about a fast quick buck but we need to think long term what happens when we’re dead. What systems have been out in place to ensure future economic growth, stability, and independence from a nation led by a government that seeks to exploit the rest of the world for its own gain and be hypocritical towards the US for them doing the same thing in so many areas.

A 51-year-old Chinese national identified as Ming Hui was arrested in Baguio City, Cordillera region, Philippines after police operatives found more than 500 kilograms of illegal drugs “shabu” or crystal meth valued at P4 billion during a raid on his house in the morning of March 29,2023, police said. According to the Cordillera police, Ming Hui, was caught in possession of the illegal drugs that were packed in teabags, bearing Chinese characters. In a report, Brig. Gen. David Peredo, Cordillera police director, said the contraband was found at a warehouse inside the suspect’s rented apartment in Barangay Irisan. Peredo said the drug haul was the biggest to date in the city and the entire Cordillera.

Over several decades, I've known many Filipino people who moved to California. They are all very delightful. Chinese... not so much.

People should know: Philippine uses deadly force on others. It’s the Philippine Coast Guard that had shot to death a Taiwanese fisherman in 2013 in the near Taiping Island which is an island administered by Taiwan. Also, Philippines also stole Taiwan’s Zhongye Dao/Thitu Island during a storm. However, China has not shoot to death anyone over the incidents between China and Philippines. In addition, two Vietnamese fishermen died in 2017 in a tragic incident with the Philippine Navy. Further, Philippines’ claims are contested by other countries, such as Vietnam, Malaysia, Brunei, China and Taiwan, too. China is not the bad guy.

It depends on the perspective of camera. When China coastgay trying to blocking the PCG you will show in the camera that China Coastgay is in the fault they blocked the PCG ship so it will collide.

I made that comments months back and also during the latest water cannon incident just what Rey Powell stated. There are other ways to how we could re-supply the BRP Sierra Madre. Twice I commented it in your blog I suggested to do VERTREP. Vertical Replenishment utilizing either PCG or PN on board Helo to re supply the Troops on Duty The PCG Ship can cruise close to BRP Sierra Madre say about 20 30 nautical miles then The Helo takes over thre-re supplying by dropping off provisions on deck of the ship. Helo doesn't have to land he'll just Hoover. If change of the Guard Duty a soldier can be lowered down on deck or retrieve up to the Helo. This will stop the Chinese Coast Guard and Militia vessels from intercepting our re-supplying. vessel.
That kind of aggressiveness of China much better to depend our country men

But the USS Ronald Reagon just loiter around Singapore and Vietnam, they never attempted to go near Taiwan during Pelosi's visit to Taiwan. When Pelosi left Taiwan, the USS Ronald Reagan exited the South China Sea thru San Bernardino Strait separating Luzon from the Visayas.
