@jaccob112 Not true. WTF videos are almost always recorded live with no editing. That's the point, they're honest first impressions. WoW videos have their commentary dubbed in after the video is recorded.
@SuchAPrettyToy It's an oldschool 3D radar solution. I guess it first appeared ingame in Elite in the 80's. The lines' lengths and directions show you how higher or lower the indicated targets are on your ship's Y axis.
YES! I've been hoping you'd do something about this game, I already own Beat Hazard and Audiosurf, and needed to know if this was worth buying the pack for.
I'm so frustrated that it took me so long to find out about this game - just stumbled upon it on the steam-for-linux release sale. What a concept! I can't wait for some eye-bleeding.
I just got done the stonetalon quest chain and your right, so epic. Atleast for the horde side. Blizzard has done a great job redoing the quests from 1-60.
normally watch videos in small screen crappy resolution but you specifically asked me to change so I thought why not and now all I can think is MY EYES MY BEAUTIFUL EYES!
Total I love your channel! The only thing that I don't like is all the WoW stuff : \ but all the other videos make up for it. Keep making great videos, cheers.
This vaguely reminds me of a game I used to love for the Dreamcast (and I believe it also has a PS2 remake) Called "Rez." And you'd fly through the levels shooting stuff, and it would make music depending on what you shot/locked onto/ how often you shot. I'm sure there was more to the game than that. But still. it was insanely entertaining.
@Lillian2167 Well guess who made the old C&C music up to Tiberian Sun Firestorm? Frank effin Klepacki, that's who. Love the guy, one of the most amazing composers and highly varied in what he does. He has a website you can google, offers you free samples of almost all his soundtrack works.
@iceakon It differs from video to video. In his WTF is series he usually comments on it as he goes. On most of his WoW vids he plays through, then comments during his first viewing. There are of course always exceptions.
@TotalHalibut You must have a large hard drive to support all of these games.. And by the way, the quests in Stonetalon are SO worth doing, I just finished them, they are excellent.
Wow mindblowing ill deffo be having a look at this (love indie) --- havnt had chance to keep up with your podcasts so not sure if you have mentioned it but have you tried minecraft yet -- couldnt find a wtf is minecraft?
When I had screen distortion of that kind happening to me, I wrestled with my graphics card for months before figuring out that it was the screen cable that was borked. Not necessarily saying that's the problem you're having, but if you have a spare cable and you're on a stationary, it's worth testing.
I tried the 3-D thing with some glasses and it works, but it doesn't pop out of your screen, it actually gives your screen depth. It is as if you're looking through a window at an aquarium.
Driven by your music? Reminds me of Audiosurf, Rhythm Zone, and Beat Hazard. Interesting. I got it on my wishlist in case of any things that may come up or Valve's own Wishlist giveaway.
@aramini5 You can if you like, but it doesn't make it any less true. There's no reason for me to be on Realm. They tried to recruit me several times before the channel launched. TheGameStation is a better deal plus I'd rather work with Husky, Dodger and co. than with Machinima anyway.
When you stopped talking... I felt like I was watching an amazingly long trailer. Makes you think, how well would this game work using music from Killing Floor.
2024 RIP my friend. As of Today The Polynomial: Mostly Positive (442 reviews) I thought i would post how these old games are rated today, 6 years after his passing. Did they do better? Did they die?
Funny thing is that I am not actually doing anything hallucinogenic or otherwise (I am the author of that game and nobody prompted me to make this announcement). I also do photorealistic graphics but I like to break constraints of the ordinary at times - there is no point recreating real world precisely on computer; so much more is possible.
... Whoa. That is all I have to say. Looks interesting. For the record, your music seemed to fit it better than the soundtrack, and by fit I mean it seemed to make for... more interesting results. I'll have to keep this game in mind.
@Shadowbudd He has said about a thousand friggen times that he will not do a 'WTF is Minecraft' video. I think he should though... A 'Let's Play Minecraft' perhaps?
TB, you've done it again. Presenting us with yet another awesome game that is worth playing and worth watching.
Rip 2022, Still missed
Aww RIP TotalBiscuit. Awesome guy
TB you make me explode with happiness each time you put out new content =D
+1 for Frank Klepacki. He's been one of my favorite composers since the C&C: Red Alert days. Used to listen to him all the time.
I gotta say, I check often if TotalBiscuit has uploaded new videos. They never cease to entertain me. I turn off the tele to watch these. dftba.
@jaccob112 Not true. WTF videos are almost always recorded live with no editing. That's the point, they're honest first impressions. WoW videos have their commentary dubbed in after the video is recorded.
This would be the perfect game to play with any kind of electronic music going in the background.
Wow, the microphone quality seems to have gotten even better since last time I watched one of your videos.
Awesome!
@SuchAPrettyToy
It's an oldschool 3D radar solution. I guess it first appeared ingame in Elite in the 80's. The lines' lengths and directions show you how higher or lower the indicated targets are on your ship's Y axis.
This is godly, I would spend all my time on none with my own music. This is like the ultimate visualizer for your Media player.
This game is awesome Dood. Thank you for showing it to us all.
first time I saw this game and you, thanks for the show! great vid :D
YES! I've been hoping you'd do something about this game, I already own Beat Hazard and Audiosurf, and needed to know if this was worth buying the pack for.
TB love your vids. That WTF polynomial vid was trippy lol
Frank Klepacki. Bruh, you have awesome tastes. ;_;
Totally awsome visual effects! made my other half leap from his seat and try and find the game! Thanks
I bought the whole Indie pack this game was a part of. Thanks for the heads up TB!
@Renan9395 Yes, it's on steam. You can get it for 5$ the coming 6 and a half hours, and you get 4 other music games with it.
@xeronerv Sorry you have bad speakers.
Oh wow the visuals in this are amazing.
I wish i had more knowledge about indi games. Videoes like this just proves how much im missing.
I might just give this a try.
I'm so frustrated that it took me so long to find out about this game - just stumbled upon it on the steam-for-linux release sale. What a concept! I can't wait for some eye-bleeding.
I must get this! THANKS TB!! fro showing me this! Good stuff.
I just got done the stonetalon quest chain and your right, so epic. Atleast for the horde side. Blizzard has done a great job redoing the quests from 1-60.
I like that last point there.
And you are a pretty skilled arguer ;)
@MsLilly200 Audiosurf perhaps? As they makes "race tracks" to themusic track you tell it with cubes to collect for high scores.
Agreed TB! I just did all the stonetalon quests for the horde yesterday. Absolutely amazing finish!
normally watch videos in small screen crappy resolution but you specifically asked me to change so I thought why not and now all I can think is MY EYES MY BEAUTIFUL EYES!
Total I love your channel! The only thing that I don't like is all the WoW stuff : \ but all the other videos make up for it. Keep making great videos, cheers.
Play this game with the mind fucking sound of SHPONGLE! :D

This game is so awesome. I would definitely recommend buying it.
every single video youve done take me 30 minute to buffer. no other videos. just yours. you+me+youtube=fail.
@lefseleif What story?
Thank you TB. that it the most amazing game ive ever seen.
@iceakon His WTF series he records while he plays, but in other videos like his WoW videos he will usually record first and commentate over it later
@iceakon It differs from video to video. In his WTF is series he usually comments on it as he goes. On most of his WoW vids he plays through, then comments during his first viewing. There are of course always exceptions.
@thamoslil It truly does. You buy a non-digital copy from the store of a game. you cant resell it anyway.
Ty for Frank Klepacki!
@TotalHalibut You must have a large hard drive to support all of these games.. And by the way, the quests in Stonetalon are SO worth doing, I just finished them, they are excellent.
BTW the worm hole you accually shall fly though is the one with the red arrow next to it. the one you fly though only resets it
Wow mindblowing ill deffo be having a look at this (love indie) --- havnt had chance to keep up with your podcasts so not sure if you have mentioned it but have you tried minecraft yet -- couldnt find a wtf is minecraft?

The second arena you can play in looks even more amazing, and so do others.
Funny thing is I'm learning about Polynomials right now.
@Lillian2167 You're welcome, always glad to point people towards him.
Wow the music in this game is freakin' awesome!
I just bought the pack. Awesome. Thanks TB.
When I had screen distortion of that kind happening to me, I wrestled with my graphics card for months before figuring out that it was the screen cable that was borked. Not necessarily saying that's the problem you're having, but if you have a spare cable and you're on a stationary, it's worth testing.
I wonder total biscuit can you post more star battle games it is your choice but i think the fans would appreciate it
@typhooni8
Thank god you still managed to hit the "post" button.
I tried the 3-D thing with some glasses and it works, but it doesn't pop out of your screen, it actually gives your screen depth.
It is as if you're looking through a window at an aquarium.
@TotalHalibut please re-upload this in 1080p. I will love you forever if you do!
TB, how are you so awsome? In every single video/commentary?
For those who are wondering: he stops talking and turns up the music at about 11:00. :3
Very cool game! Btw nice taste in music
"I will brb,
Hold my spot in the raid while i wait for total biscuits video to properly render!"
does your voice keep getting awesomer every day?
Driven by your music? Reminds me of Audiosurf, Rhythm Zone, and Beat Hazard. Interesting. I got it on my wishlist in case of any things that may come up or Valve's own Wishlist giveaway.

I thought i would post how these old games are rated today, 6 years after his passing. Did they do better? Did they die?
@MegaNight He did Beat Hazard AGES ago and even said in the Video that he did it, pay attention.
Dude, I love you term of "Visual Feast" I will need to poach that lol
exactly a year later, I find thisg ame on steam fall sale, picking it up now :D
@Boby7040 Not when I can avoid it.
@bacon97824 not only does you name win, but that statement as well. *golf clap*

I'll have to keep this game in mind.
Can't wait to play this high.
looking back down at the comments after watching this in fullscreen, the white of the page looks much darker...
i like how they have a minimap... as if that would actually help you understand anything...
This looks brilliant but i think 'Child of Eden' on the X-Box just has the edge
i was hoping you would do this ^.^
Nice choice of music!
Insane, absolutely insane! :D
the colors.. they are so beatifull!!!
@Onb3k3nd3 are you sure it's not 14? or 16? Your calculations could be off, you should show your working.
I love Frank Klepaki's music, His epic music from C&C Tiberian Dawn is memorable and simply awesome. - "Act on Instinct"
So this is what Dave saw at the end of 2001....
i literally just played this game and came on youtube to check totalbiscuits channel only to find this... fun game.
@Shadowbudd
He has said about a thousand friggen times that he will not do a 'WTF is Minecraft' video. I think he should though... A 'Let's Play Minecraft' perhaps?
this looks ... mind blowing
