With the Bundesliga and the Premier League, all wearing the original jerseys. And the gameplay was MUCH better than FIFA during that time. Which was scripted through and through! And you could also adjust the controlling settings the way they were at FIFA. Awesome times! I couldn't get my friends to play PES, but I beat them at FIFA all the time, just because of my PES skills. They gave you an advantage.

Even if they made more, why would you give 300 million to FIFA who just allows you to use those four letters and doesn't provide anything else? How does that make sense to you? Besides that, they made a total of 802 million dollars of profit in 2023. Revenue is sales, profit is what you keep after all the cost you made are subtracted from the revenue. If again 33% of that profit is just from FIFA games, that's a profit of $264.66 million. FIFA says, we want 150 million dollars extra, which means that FIFA will make approximately $100 million dollars of profit per year. That makes zero sense from a business perspective. To explain it easier, FIFA basically told them to give up more than 70% of the money they make from those games just to call those games FIFA.

The eventual winners in the outcome are us, the players, because both games will try to deliver the best possible product so as not to end up behind the other game. This is actually a good thing cos FIFA restricted EA from putting certain things in Game. For ex: FIFA has a partnership with adidas so there’s a lot more adidas boots and clothes in the game compared to Nike. I think most major football games have been building their name for so long that they are quite known now , a game that would partner with Fifa just to use its name would probably not offer close to that $150million Ea sports was giving Fifa annually . So 3 years from now for the next World Cup, I wonder how the standalone game would be like or maybe they'll have it as an update with Konami's eFootball.
What I can say is that Konami + fifa will be a lit🔥.

I would have maybe accepted just signing Endo as a DM if we signed a top top left footed cb like Gvaridol or Bastoni but we didn’t which is why I have a problem if we don’t sign a top class DM.

This is actually a good thing cos FIFA restricted EA from putting certain things in Game. For ex: FIFA has a partnership with adidas so there’s a lot more adidas boots and clothes in the game compared to Nike. Some people may not care about stuff like that but it makes a huge difference when EA can finally focus on more that FIFA held back

I think most major football games have been building their name for so long that they are quite known now , a game that would partner with Fifa just to use its name would probably not offer close to that $150million Ea sports was giving Fifa annually . If Konami doesn't partner with Fifa , they have just lost free money, no other football game would offer such an amount
They probably seen it as worth the gamble £150 million to them is basically like £1.50 to us. Also they could just make a whole new company to make there games and start from nothing if they wanted they have the money to do so. But I do agree with you would of been much more simpler to just accept ea offer
@@carlinytc7431that’s completely false that’s alot of money for FIFA and EA is the only company rich enough to pay them 150 million a year and still make over 5 billion in profits from all the other games they make
@@carlinytc7431to start a game development team from scratch not only is expensive but takes years, we’re talking 3-5 years for an established studio. For Fifa to set up a studio, recruit game designers, software developers, engineers, etc and then create a brand new game from scratch would probably take 6-8 years
