This season on "The Real Housewives of New Jersey," the women are faced with new trials and tribulations that test their close-knit friendships. In the midst of their newfound familial peace, Melissa is thrown a curve ball when Joe and Teresa decide to open a family restaurant without consulting her. Dolores has finally found the man of her dreams, but when her ex-husband asks to move back home, it jeopardizes her own romantic future. After finding overwhelming success with her book and speaking engagements, Siggy decides it's time to take her career to the next level. Ironically, this causes relationship issues of her own as her husband questions her commitment to work-life balance. Meanwhile, as Teresa comes to terms with life as a single parent with Joe in prison, her world becomes further fractured by the heartbreaking and sudden death of her mother. The dynamic of the group gets thrown off-course when Danielle Staub re-enters the picture after years of total absence, threatening a 20-year friendship between Teresa and Dolores. Danielle trying to push a bigger wedge between Teresa and Melissa so she can get close to Teresa is something she did before....except she did it after baby Joey was born to get closer to Melissa when she was fighting with Teresa back in the the day (OG RHONJ fans know this). This is a tactic she also tried to use in the older seasons to split up Dina and Jacqueline so she could get closer to Jacqueline. I think cause this woman has no family she enjoys splitting them up (think of also her husband of two seconds and his kids she bashed) to give herself a seat with a substitute family. She ruins families and friendships because that’s the only way she feels she can earn one. We’ve hit a breakthrough - that’s my diagnosis.

I come from an Italian/Greek family and Teresa needs to cool it with harping on her brother about time with their dad. He is working and is a grown man! My grandfather would cheer us on for working hard, not want to sit around drinking all day. You can get up, go to work, spend time with family and support one another OR you can do it Teresa & Joe's way and spend more than you earn, screw over the Govt and partners for money and then cry when your caught. Give me a break, the rest of the world is shaking their heads! Actually, we are watching it on TV as entertainment at the expense. Cynthia David finally someone gets it! Joe and Melissa going on vacation during the anniversary of their Mothers passing was just shocking. It's really frustrating because people aren't understanding just how disrespectful that move was in our cultures. Even the extended Guidice family would of all been offended by that. During the first year you're expected to show that you're mourning and Melissa and Joe haven't. It might all sound alien to everyone else but people need to butt out of cultural traditions.

I a son should step up when his mom passes but it is also a matter of being there for his dad so he doesn’t fall apart. Parents don’t give birth and put you on a shelf they nurture you and pick you up and support you when your down and as our parents get older it is a loving child that helps their parents when they are falling apart when their heart is breaking. He shouldn’t need his niece telling him his dad is crying all the time and not care.

I understand it's a Italian culture thing but times have changed. I'm pretty sure someone in their family is a fair minded person could convince Teresa to admit to her stubborn ways and actually make steps to curing the problems in their family. Trust if someone could break down Teresa's wall and get her to be open minded and emotional she'll be able to make amends.

And I wanna keep liking Jackie, I just got bummed when she said "I'm a journalist that gets off on pissing off others" because I have a general dislike for journalists and their.......ways. and apparently she writes a piece about Jennifer with the "I stand by it" attitude??
