I remember when these came out. First four wheel drive ATV. It was pretty cool at the time. Then they changed them to the independent front end and it was a whole nother level. That thing rode like a tank. Almost no suspension..tough as nails though. The ranchers and farmers all bought them. Ran them for 20 years
I would never do that with my four wheeler cuz my luck I would high center the ramps fall and I break sum so when I do this I always my sure to straps those damn ramps to the trailer and best as I can 😂😂
I load my Honda without ramps. Trailer is about a foot and a half off the ground and as long as the top of the tire is touching it’ll climb right up in 4 by.
Next time before you load a quad , you can do what I do ,quad (1) straight on up ramps into dump box of f550 ,(quad#2) trailer one side set car ramps on deck & line up load ramps and drive on sideways strap it down and go ,quad (3)I have to use large blocks then another pr on driver side, straight across to wheel chucks up on large blocks strap down pull out the ramps and chuck , follow by (#1) Dr 52 pill behind brush mower (backed on) ,back to car ramps in front (#2)Dr 52 up and over top of other 1 just far enough to close gates and strap everything down , 4 weed eaters , cooler , air tank ,2 small tool boxes , 4 5g fuel cans ( solar fields to mow !)
Some people don’t see danger and matter where you’re and handing and vehicle safety is the at most thing important. Just one oversight and your life change forever.
I would say next time pull it on straight? You could also invest in some better 1 piece ramps to keep on the trailer and put the 4 wheeler in the bed of the Sierra.

Not going to lie those little four-wheelers are bad motherfukers but any four-wheeler with four-wheel drive can climb that 7 to 8 inch tall lip on the trailer that was just a little 350d I've watched Honda Foreman 500 climb onto flatbed trailers that were two feet off the ground with absolutely no issue and no ramps
Why'd you have it in there sideways to begin with? It'd been easier to drive it up ramps onto the trailer then strapped it down and when it came time to off load do it in reverse.

So , I’m thinking me and my brother Gary Rayburn Jr. is about to go find a nice tight “hole” to put this “Tree-Fitty ole Big D” in to see how deep and narrow them walls are. See if they any virgin first timer holes in them woods that ain’t been ran through and wallard out (which I’ve had this wheeler for three days now, first two days which was me working on it) yet. Long story short she’s a beast, never found mud and I snapped the front swing arm bearing (🇺🇸) like a pro. #faafo #letsride #hondamudbikes

I load my Honda without ramps. Trailer is about a foot and a half off the ground and as long as the top of the tire is touching it’ll climb right up in 4 by.
