I bought the Sony RDR VX500 DVD/VHS player/recorder at Goodwill was note that the VCR did not play tape would run just no video. The fan did not work fixed fan. I cleaned the VHS heads, tape guides, and the audio head too.
Placed VHS of Star Wars (of course) tap ran great.
This model will play both VHS and DVD output through the component out jacks.
This model also has VCR Plus. Anyone remember that?
This is a great player I do not even use the record feature.

Great video everything vhs tapes don't stop playing at all everything proven people keep there mode switch clean out like they should people will never have playing problem's at all with there VCR players
That's a great video! VHS tapes indeed seem to keep playing without issues. As long as people maintain their mode switch and keep it clean, they shouldn't encounter any problems with their VCR players.
For non combo units i've had the best luck with vcr's from the 1980's, they are really easy to repair and work on compared to newer vcr's

Remember this vhs is more greater on your health y you are getting up and walking to to get a tape and walking to your VCR player to put it in Yes it's not much you are still moving and that is y they are healthy for your health everything proven vhs tapes don't make you lazy like Disney plus does and computer does

I don't buy the combos if the unit don't record to vhs transfer to dvd
Everything is proven people like myself are buying VCR players offline for 50 dollars everything is proven there getting more easy finding online now days no more getting out of the house now days it comes to your house now days

I find these all day at the Thiftstore vhs dvd recorders for 10 bucks or less😊
