In this video I show off how to make a texture pack on Minecraft Bedrock Edition, or MCPE/MCBE. This works for both Android and iOS. I’ll also be playing on my PS4 controller as I usually do.

FOR ANDROID USERS: Something that was brought to my attention is that Documents isn't on the play store which is odd, last time I checked it was there. Anyways, install File Manager By File Manager Plus, it works the same as Documents.
Something I forgot to mention, is that if the pack doesn’t work, change the game version in the manifest file to the one you’re using (assuming you’re not on the newest version).

@asdd just look around through other packs that have skies, and then just copy over folders, and edit textures

Also if u want to change the trident textures go to the entity folder. Once in there u can change mob, chests, arrows and trident textures.

If you want to mash packs: get the pack you what to rip a texture from, import it into documents find the texture you want to rip then press move, move it into the default pack you imported and replace the other texture when it says replace. Now you’ve successfully mashed a pack

Hey man I followed all the steps properly and still I can’t import it on minecraft it says invalid zip archive
If you want to alter a texture pack that someone else made, download it into Documents, then rename the file so instead of .mcpack change it to .zip. After that unzip it and you can access all of their textures

Idk if you still have this problem but I had this problem before and i just stick my texture packs right into the minecraft resource pack folder from “files” app and they work. I have a vid on my channel explaining it if you don’t know how to do that
I did this but on the first bit when I download the vanilla texture pack it didn’t give me an option to import it into documents it just went straight to the default files.
From files just share it to documents then

Great tutorial! You just gained a new subscriber, also I wanna ask a question. I’m tryna create a totem but when ever I put it in a pack then bring it to Minecraft and give it a test. It gives the skin but it has a white square around it. How to fix it?

Yeah, you can just edit and mash up packs in documents, you can do anything rlly

@@AquaTundra the fire textures are all located in the blocks folder, and yes it’s possible to make animated textures, ive seen tutorials on how to do it, so you can just search it up, HOWEVER, it’s only possible for blocks and such, no items

I followed this tutorial exactly but it won’t work. I saw that the “minversion” was [ 1, 19, 50 ] and it didn’t work so I changed it to [ 1, 19, 51 ]. It refuses to download, even when I move the pack (through the files app) directly into the Minecraft folder and launch from there.
Try moving to notes first

it won’t work for me and i don’t know why, i just wanted to change the daimond texture and i uploaded it to the exported it to the minecraft game, loaded it up and it was still the default texture

There's not rlly a lot you can do when it comes to editing the game files. Like ig you can set your fps to 1 chunk and turn vsync on, but there isn't a lot you can do.

Once you finish the pack, press “Open in another app” then press minecraft
My manifest will not let me edit the description what do I do to fix this

@@teamkids5575 Well, this is an iOS tutorial, I was doing this on an iPad, but maybe you can try to search up a tutorial on how to edit text files for your iOS version and such if my method doesn’t work.

@@GabeFr_ like, maybe the reason it didn't work was because you didn't rename the texture exactly as to what it should have been, but then again, it could be a variety of other things
The Addon won’t import successfully, it just says “unable to parse pack manifest with stack” anybody know how I can fix this and get to use my texture in game?

Maybe check the uuids and the pack name, also, I'm not exactly sure what you did anyways
@@safe. yea I changed the uuids with the generated uuids, and the pack name was fine! But I fixed the problem, I just transferred the pack onto my Xbox using file transfer methods. It seemed to work fine there but still confused why it wouldn't work on my phone
