- Congresswoman Sheila Jackson-Lee (D-TX) eulogizes Michael Jackson and says that he is "innocent until proven otherwise". She also introduced Resolution 600, dedicated to the King of Pop.
I wish Michael could have had this tribute and support when he was alive. He did a lot for the world and will be missed.

Last time I remember, Ken Griffey Jr. is a player for the Seattle Mariners, A-Rod is NY Yankees, Dan Uggla is a Florida Marlin, Terry Pendleton his hitting coach for the Braves, J.P. Howell is a TB Ray. Ron Villone is a Washington Nationals. Casey Mulligans is a St. Cardinals. These people are not fans, they are players or coaches and they tribute to MJ. Proves these people are not players and they're only fans. I bet a $ 1 milliion that Dan Uggla is a baseball player for the Florida Marlins.

Like the Dodgers as the tribute to MJ. Why two teams with the one of the biggest rivalries of all of sports have the same point of view. I got Santonio Holmes, Tom Brady, Payton Manning, Jerry Rice, Donavan McNabb, Terrell Owens, Jeff Garcia and Roger Goodell because they said they do supports and honor MJ and no protest from any NFL players or the fans. the CFL is not the NFL, get that straight if you want to pass preschool. My NFL players said the people that they tribute, their honor is still alive as long as we are alive. So your team has the NFL to handle too. But you need to know the difference between the CFL and the NFL.
But it still happened. Then what is the difference of Bruce's tribute vs. JP Howell, Jair Jurrjens, Jerry Rice, Sanitonio Holmes and Willie Harris's tribute.
So in a scale of 1 to 10 the MLB tribute of 6 or 7. "So what if rivalries put aside"? I know many MLB would care becase they do care about their team. At least the MLB did something. I remember MLB was kind enough paid a local tribute to cancer Patients. I went to a Giants game at AT&T park, the players shooks patients hands and signed autographs. The opposing team was the SD Padres and they were also shook and signed autographs to the patients. Janet Jackson is also a baseball and Padres fan.

So it was not for taking of his helmet because many other players took of their helmets and was never fined. Plus the San Francisco 49ers and the Pittsburgh Steelers supports MJ. Last time I remember these two teams are NFL teams.

Plus MJ's memeorial was at the Staples Center where the Lakers, Clippers & LA Kings play. I as I remember correctly that these LA teams were ok with it. If the Giants having one of MJ's Neverland ride at McCovey Cove was issued by a editorial fan, then why you don't ask a Giants player like Aaron Rowand to confirm that issue and ask him why did he punch your face? Or if Indians fireworks was also was issued by a editoral fan then ask Grady Sizemore and ask him why he thought you were his mother.
I know many Giants, Dodgers, Yankees and Red Sox fans would care. The Cleveland Indians decide to tribute MJ at their stadium because they care. These decisions are based on a team decision, which proves they honor MJ. Just like the Dodgers, Giants, Braves, Philles and many more.
I didn't critizie the All Star game for not honoring MJ. The All Star game is an example for not putting a rivalry grudge on a side because the Cubs/Cardinals are major rivals and the Cubs player TED LILLY was booed even though they are on the same side. The Dogers/Giants were able to put their rivalry grudge on the side, the Yankees/Red Sox were to but a rivalry grudge on the side. That means MJ was honored my the MLB. I can say this... on the base we are stationed at overseas a bunch of military members got busted for doing illegal substances. Children look up to them as well, so should we keep children away from military personnel as well? You don't know which ones are doing it and which are not. My point being it's everywhere including in our military on military bases...there is no where immune to drug use.
