Beautiful tree. I just bought myself and apple tree that I planted in a large pot and I am training it into an espalier since I also live in an urban area and don’t have much space.
Awesome. I plan to add another big espalier apple this year hopefully. I like to train them myself but I need it large now rather than later so may pay the hefty price for a pre-started tree. Will see how expensive that will be.
This tree has symmetric cordons the opposing branches are very near the same level . In TH-cam land many espalier videos host show their trees as opposing branches not right across from each other which is cheating , the way I look at it but in their case they are more interested in the fruit ,I'm more interested in the decorative effect of the tree
If I understand your question correctly, apple trees can typically have a few blossoms and small fruit in their first to second year but in my area and experience in Utah they don't start producing a good quantity of apples until years 7 to 9 depending on the species.
I figured it was french but I only took spanish in school. ha. Thanks for watching the video and I plan on filming one final pruning of the espalier before winter hits. I appreciate your support.

I've just planted several apple, pear and apricot trees that will be espaliered. I hope they end up as good looking as yours.
Thank you. I hope they turn out better than mine. It is a fun project but patience is needed as it takes years to get them where you want them to be.
This is so beautiful espalier apple tree🌲☘🌿🌱🍃🌴
Thanks. I plan on one more video of this tree with a final fall pruning.
Well you are getting there . I haven't watched a n espalier video for at least 9 months and the TH-cam algorithm selected your video for me
Well thats awesome to hear. I'm going to keep plugging along and see where it goes. Small goals in my older years. ha
That takes so much patience! It's looking good :)
Thanks Arash. Its a good looking tree when pruned.
