    You guys are the best source for Harley builds and information!
    Please answer this question for me, I have slip ons and a aftermarket air filter on a 20 Street glide. No tuner and she runs great! Most people think you have to install a tuner. Saw a video from some well known aftermarket guys saying the M8’s don’t run lean like the older twin cam engines. They say you don’t need a tuner. Your thoughts?

    Love you guys. Already got a quote from Nick. Waiting on my new 2020 RKS to get here Then heading up to see you guys. Would love to talk to Jamie or Aaron about what we picked out to get a second opinion and see if maybe another grand or two could do for me before we order everything. Thanks again guys.

    If you do the 492 or a 531 cam what kind of springs do you use?

  • @RobAshton44

    How do you guys feel about 475c s&s cam with the 119 se jugs, piston and spring kit?
    I did already change compensator to dark horse, baker spring tensioner, rekluse clutch, s&s oil pump and cam plate

    • @MoonshineHarley
      @MoonshineHarley  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      We like it. It a torque monster. If you want to spend the extra money on some Feuling beehive springs we’d then recommend our 492. Both are great but the 492 produces the same torque and carries it father while assign 5 more horsepower as a well. Please email horsepower@moonshineharley.com and we’ll send you some dyno sheets.

      @@MoonshineHarley what was your reason for hating v&h power duals ? I have them with svt boneshakers. Should I be eventually changing the headpipe again?

    Can you guys please talk about trail and rake settings for performance baggers in the next video?
    No one seems to mention this anywhere in the industry and it seems like some important shit.
    I’ve done so much custom shit to my bike I have no clue if my trail is way off.
    I have a 2020 road glide special
    -Big bear inverted front end +2” over
    -Hd 357 ohlins rears with 1” extensions
    -Trac dynamics billet swingarm on stock setting holes.
    -BST 18” rear & 19” front wheels
    -Pirelli night dragon radials (front tire is 70mm vs stock 60mm height so it’s a taller tire)
    -MJK modified steering stabilizer for my 57mm fork
    -Carbon bags and fenders
    -128” motor
    My bike currently sits higher in the front than the rear. Harley says stock 2020 RGS trail is 6.8” but that’s for getting groceries.
    Should I lower my front so it corners better at slow and fast speeds? If so, where should my trail be?
    I believe you measure trail by drawing a line front the center of the front Axel to the ground. Then draw a line from the fork tubes to the ground. Then subtract offset distance from steering stem to fork tubes.
    Wish I would have had you build my bike so I wasn’t left figuring out this shit for myself. Thanks guys!

    so i got a fueling 465 cam and oil pump kit installed in my 2019 m8 107 , and now the oil cooler seems to have a strong leak , have you seen increased pressures cause leaks after putting the fueling pump in your bikes

    • @MoonshineHarley
      @MoonshineHarley  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Never. It’s not the pump. Should hopefully be an easy fix.

    Hey Guys ,,Is the Syn 3 still OK with a SE 447 CAM / Stock AC and Eliminator 300 Slip ons in a 2020 114 Fxlrs ? Is that still what you'd consider Stockish ,,..I'm going for Longevity and Good mileage with around 105-110 Bhp and 120-125 Lbs Torque.. Had the Silver FXLRS now 12 months with App $3 k in Mostly cosmetic mods and 5000 miles early Oil changes at 3500-4000 miles..

      @MoonshineHarley  3 ปีที่แล้ว
