@@notgabriel8624 yeah they don’t, Fortnite makes money off of skins & the normal cosmetics we’ve seen, Fortnite festival makes their bucks off of festival passes, rocket racing makes theirs off of cars, and Lego Fortnite doesn’t sell anything, all the lego styles r free, the gamemode is free, and while epic games is making loads off of Fortnite as a whole, each game mode has their own set of devs, so you need to make more buck to pay &/or hire more devs for those game-modes, each game has to have something to sell, at least in epic games logic, & it’s just cosmetic so I’m fine with this. As long as it’s not pay to win content.

The companions' AI is limping, there are no teleports, the companion interface does not exist, which is a key function in survival games. You created a survival game without basic things like companion equipment. Why, it's better to give him items through stupid text bubbles. It's a good idea, i really think that But it should only be available when you enter the lego mode and not the regular item shop, and i think having a different type of money that you could get by doing challenges in lego and with those coins you can buy lego sets
I think Epic is making a big mistake with these. I understand they want to monetize the mode beyond Lego outfits, but they need to focus on improving the appeal and playerbase of the mode first, before trying to capitalize on it. I honestly don't think the price is too outrageous when compared to how expensive other cosmetics in this game are, but monetizing the mode like this rather than expanding the playerbase is going to hurt the game's longevity in the long run.
We shouldn’t have to pay for these. Selling cosmetic items makes sense but not this. Building is a core part of Lego Fortnite’s gameplay. This is like putting certain weapons in battle royale behind a paywall
Good and Bad news the kits are no longer in the shop on Fortnite. I just hope that when they return that they add the character skin to each kit... I just wanted to be a wizard, building a wizard tower but that meant buying 2 items the kit and then the skin... so I decided to wait... now they are gone... 💔
One of the complaints I had with the game on release was that you didn't have enough freedom to build what you wanted, free building was a mess and the only things worth buildng were preset builds. Now I see what their plans for the future were. Disgusting.
