In my own theory, CJ grew tired of Sweet's bullshit after the end of game and left the hood behind to live somewhere else than Los Santos, eventually, causing another fall of the famillies. Probably, that's why they no longer live at the grove in GTA V.
I think if CJ brought Kendl there to pick up sweet with him she could have been a good back up to prove to sweet that CJ did so much to move on from the Ghetto.

Sweet and CJ’s relationship is like Lamar and Franklin. When CJ realizes the bigger picture, sweet is still stuck in the hood just like when Franklin to Lamar
For someone who cares a lot about the hood Sweet doesn't do jack shit for the hood itself. Just look at him, any mission that have Sweet in it he doesn't do anything. Me too, after his other brother and mother died. Sweet and Kendl the only family he had left. Not to mention his homies 4 life is selling them out, but at least he got new homies now that soon turn to be brother in-law.
3:23 Sweet : " What you done for our hood?" CJ : "Man What the hood done for me?" Damn. Kinda understand why Smoke left The hood . It would be great if Tempenny didn't set Smoke to send Green Sabre to kill Sweet. (Accidently killed sweet/cj/kendl Mom)
I can see both of their point of views, Sweet was born and bred in grove street and spent his life running with the grove street families and showing loyalty to those he grew up with. Carl on the other hand realizes that there’s a lot more to life than gang banging and pointless fighting over neighborhoods. If I was Carl, I would just tell sweet to grow up, although I can fully understand and appreciate where he’s coming from. That’s just my take it on anyway.
He doesn't remember as well that he almost got killed in an ambush set up by The Ballas, Big smoke and CRASH during the green sabre. The GSF gang can't run operations in their hood after this mission because of Tenpenny's orders and how it was dangerous to go back to Los Santos. Sweet doesn't appreciate how it was dangerous to go back to Grove Street under the Ballas and Tenpenny's control as they'll sherd him out. He doesn't recognize the cautions of safety and danger that would've happen to him and the GSF from the Ballas and CRASH.
IMO both Sweet & CJ had some good points. Sweet is right that you shouldn't forget where you came from, but CJ is also right that when you have a chance to get up out the hood take it.
0:09 This cutscene with Toreno? Was how he instantly became one of my all-time favorite GTA characters. The fact that he not only gave the most insane missions and has a smug hilarious personality, but the fact that he was a corrupt government agent that actually KEPT HIS WORD. He released Sweet from prison and told CJ that after he picks Sweet up, he will never bother him again (he made good on both those promises)
This mission sums up how unbelievably selfish Sweet is. Cut him some slack with how he was to CJ at the start of the game, because the emotion of his mom being killed was still raw. But this was ridiculous. Yes he might not have known the lengths CJ has to go to in order to get him out, but that's not the problem. Sweet just can't accept the fact that not everyone in the family has the same mindset as him. If he wants to spend his entire life in the hood, fighting for respect, that's one thing. But to lay into his brother for daring to want to actually make more of himself, and seek a life outside of gang wars and violence is just pathetic. Even saying if Kendl wants to see him, she has to make the effort and come back to the hood. Why should she? Like Carl, she realised there was more to life. And they had to get out of Los Santos anyway, otherwise they'd have probably not survived with how things were going. So they had a choice. Stay and be killed, hide out and live in fear, or make something of themselves. But because Sweet can't see a life outside of the hood, he expects his siblings to feel the same. Don't think he's ever set foot out of Los Santos. Would see San Fierro and Las Venturas as different countries.
As I see many comments praising Toreno that he kept his promise, I think he did so because he needed Grove Street revival in order to get rid of CRASH.
And they kinda realise it already, it's just that you gotta love the setting of the story and the way it moved. From when we started, Carl had nothing, lost his family, got betrayed but he worked his sh*t out step by step and ever since sh*t's been cracking for him. We get revenue from Car's showroom at 'San fiero', abandoned runway, zeroes electronic shop and got successful business going on with the Casino at 'Venturas' And in the middle of the confusion after he got fucked up at the mission 'the green sabre', Carl slowly worked it all out, talked with many people, made connection and friends even along the way and did all sorts of crazy gangster sh*t to best push through what the situation throwed at him. It will always be an amazing experience seeing CJ starting from the bottom and working all the way to the top of his gangster game.
Toreno don't give a shit about Crash bruh. He's a government agent working against other countries the only reason he formed that Loco syndicate is because he's investigating a drug ring from south america. He already knew about the Crash corruption if they wanted to they could probably have enough evidence to get him charged.
Sweet is a small minded man who is miserable and pulls everyone including his family down. CJ managed to free him but also provide for the family yet Sweet wants to go back to drive buys etc.
Sweet can be really bitter sometimes, especially in this mission. Aside from the fact CJ went to all those lengths to get him out of prison, he seems to take offence to him trying to do well for himself and having a life outside the hood. It's like he can't move on with life. Probably had an issue with Kendl moving out to the countryside with Cesar as well.
Can we all talk about how Toreno actually kept his promise and release Sweet? Most people will leave CJ just like that.

Damn. Kinda understand why Smoke left The hood . It would be great if Tempenny didn't set Smoke to send Green Sabre to kill Sweet. (Accidently killed sweet/cj/kendl Mom)

Sweet teach Carl a big lesson but still do nothing during the battle. Damn.
Doing nothing is another thing, but get in the way while CJ was blasting is another level of dumbness from Sweet.
Both of them have a fair point, Sweet for going home, and CJ for not wanting to go...
Exactly, Carl is tired of all the crap GSF gave him
@@AnthroGearhead it Gsf that dumb cj mind down
I can see both of their point of views, Sweet was born and bred in grove street and spent his life running with the grove street families and showing loyalty to those he grew up with. Carl on the other hand realizes that there’s a lot more to life than gang banging and pointless fighting over neighborhoods. If I was Carl, I would just tell sweet to grow up, although I can fully understand and appreciate where he’s coming from.
That’s just my take it on anyway.
Toreno Really Is A Good Guy

@@FAM3KaneIf you hate a character for giving hard mission then you got skill issue lol
Sweet busy waving his hands and talkin noise instead of blasting. CJ always carrying this ungrateful fool.
Sweet had a point about remembering their roots but at the same time, he doesn't know all the stuff CJ did to get him out and protect everyone!
Yes I agree with the roots, but it doesn't matter where you came from, it's where you're going.
Did anyone else notice that Mike Toreno sounds like James Woods? Fun fact: Mike Toreno is voiced by James Woods!
4:36 "Man What The F--k! That's Mom's Blender" 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Man opened the car door to let the air in.
I feel that dressing like a clown is integral part of this mission
Sweet didn’t even back you up when you took the hood back over 😂
This mission sums up how unbelievably selfish Sweet is.
Imagine if CJ says to Sweet that he's a buster.
at 0:52 the guitar is a decoration we can have at our penthouse in gta online
As I see many comments praising Toreno that he kept his promise, I think he did so because he needed Grove Street revival in order to get rid of CRASH.
Good point
And they kinda realise it already, it's just that you gotta love the setting of the story and the way it moved. From when we started, Carl had nothing, lost his family, got betrayed but he worked his sh*t out step by step and ever since sh*t's been cracking for him.
We get revenue from Car's showroom at 'San fiero', abandoned runway, zeroes electronic shop and got successful business going on with the Casino at 'Venturas'
And in the middle of the confusion after he got fucked up at the mission 'the green sabre', Carl slowly worked it all out, talked with many people, made connection and friends even along the way and did all sorts of crazy gangster sh*t to best push through what the situation throwed at him.
It will always be an amazing experience seeing CJ starting from the bottom and working all the way to the top of his gangster game.
Mission 'the green sabre' has been the turning point for CJ.
Toreno don't give a shit about Crash bruh. He's a government agent working against other countries the only reason he formed that Loco syndicate is because he's investigating a drug ring from south america. He already knew about the Crash corruption if they wanted to they could probably have enough evidence to get him charged.
3:02 The best Sweet reaction in the definitive
4:36 it's mom's blender
Is that blender?.much like water pipe
He's called "Sweet" but he's always salty.

Toreno is one of the best characters in GTA universe.
Guess im not the only one who would make sure they wore a suit on this mission to show just how far CJ had come since Sweet was arrested 😂
I swear, Sweet is the eldest siblings yet he is the most childish among them.
History repeats itself and I look at it with pride and nostalgia
Sweet is a small minded man who is miserable and pulls everyone including his family down. CJ managed to free him but also provide for the family yet Sweet wants to go back to drive buys etc.

Sweet can be really bitter sometimes, especially in this mission. Aside from the fact CJ went to all those lengths to get him out of prison, he seems to take offence to him trying to do well for himself and having a life outside the hood. It's like he can't move on with life. Probably had an issue with Kendl moving out to the countryside with Cesar as well.
3:26 CJ: "Man what the hood done for me? Always dragging me down"
